  1. Ok but I took it to mean that Alfie's reputation goes before him - I thought he was getting a subtle dig. Even that was too much for Michael Stewart though - he certainly struck his nerve, while Chris Iwelumo saw SG as standing up for his player.
  2. Should be 'red' of course.
  3. Given SG's comments about being the other way round, I would doubt he's thinking about himself but the club can still make some sort of statement. Even sportscene suggested it should be read.
  4. Ye canny beat yon Jimmy Shand!
  5. Mmm... wonder why we let Docherty go then; and if it is about numbers, letting Ross McCrorie go may turn out to be a mistake.
  6. If he's young with potential and good sell-on value then I'm on board. Greg Docherty - Rangers through and through - could do all of those above things, so I can only surmise that the club thinks Johnson has greater potential.
  7. "Arnold Layne..." See I got that! Not many would I think.
  8. Four if you include Balogun and Morelos. Barker will miss a few.
  9. Good point - I can only assume he didn't actually see the challenge. I missed it too. He was sure talking to Edwards for a long time.
  10. Arfied was sensational when he came on - more like the player we bought.
  11. I first read that as "Oh No! Clive Tyldesley for this match!" (My reading not your punctuation.) Do we know why not?
  12. That thought has crossed my mind too.
  13. Nobody can defend that. I'm just asking for evidence. I get accused often enough of not providing proofs.
  14. What nonsense. That is vandalism, nothing to do with pro-Palestinian activism. If it's a Celtic supporter they are clearly uneducated ("Gazza?) and just parroting what they think a political group would say.
  15. Think you have to be careful about making assumptions. Do you have evidence? Could it not just be some vandal who had no idea whose car it was?
  16. Just rolls off the tongue doesn't it?
  17. I noticed when they were 2 legs the Scottish teams rarely got the away draw first (which is supposed to be the preferred option) while Celtic got a lot of home draws.
  18. Always seems to leave it till the 75th or something like that. The only thing I would really criticise him for.
  19. I didn't just mean this season - they have developed a habit of nicking goals at the death for some time now. I still think goal difference could be crucial and I'm sure SG realises that.
  20. I see that Keltic scored 3 today, including one in the last minute. Why is it that we take our foot off the gas but they don't seem to?
  21. What has that to do with our players taking the knee? We are almost able to field an all-black team; I wonder if any of them would consider that they are "endorsing black racism."
  22. 'Black racism'? Seriously? Don't you read the news? https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2020-08-29/kenosha-jacob-blake-rally
  23. Goal difference will be important; so big chance missed IMO.
