Taking into consideration the conditions, the fact that he was being hunted down and the importance of the match, has to be Roofe.

I think cross-border leagues will have to happen eventually. Just think who we could be playing against intead of, say, Hamilton or Ross County.

Could have been worse. Fancy us though. -
What a terrible month it's been for football deaths. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55300386 Anyone recognise the wee boy with the crew cut next to him in the picture?

Dunno about everyone else but it just doesn't taste the same to me as it used to. Maybe the partnership can put the 'zing' back. Mars bars are smaller..I could go on.

It did but he had kept his temper under control for quite a few games prior to that so I was kind of justified in making the comment. A year or so ago it was virtually game after game he lost it despite management entreaties.

Maybe another reason for changing his role is that he is much more disciplined now - less likely to flare up or become frustrated. Certainly he's not doing the silly things he did last two seasons when we all thought his departure was inevitable. I wonder if he's more or less attractive to prospective buyers now.

Is he going to be a direct replacment for Morelos or is he going to just augment the development squad? Spanish for 'joy'. John Joy! -
Who should we defeat in the next round?

As said previously there's nobody gives me the fear. Might be nice to revisit Young Boys and claim the victory we had snatched from us the last time we played them. -

Yes. That would guarantee our co-efficient in the future so no more of this vexatious pre-qualifying. -
Coventry and QPR opted not to take a knee

My final word on this: when Nigel Farage says taking the knee must stop then I can think of no better argument for continuing it. I am not aware of anyone forcing anybody to make a voluntary gesture. Freedom of expression is just what some of Farage's associates would ban. His mate Trump is busy trying to organise a coup. -

Wonder what you'd say if Rangers ever left the pitch (SG has said he wouldn't hesitate). I'm not saying PSG were right - i'm not seeing it from their pov. -

We don't know the inside story of Paris but I think the player or coach was questioning why the official felt it necessary to say 'that black player'. Would he have said,'that white guy'? -

I don't think we are, are we? But footballers are part of society too and like it or not, they can have an influence. As an example you only have to look at Marcus Rashford; the PM was shamed into doing a u-turn by his social media campaign, which is more than the useless official opposition could manage to do. Anyway you slice it, something needs to be done as we saw last night when a big game had to be abandoned due to racist abuse from a fourth official, as far as I can tell. We could end up with countless games being abandoned.
