Have we been blamed for that yet?

Oh no. Could you imagine how the headlines would be spun? ("Rioting thugs cause Scotland to lose Euro home games.")
-
Nor me.

Big Kilmarnock Bunnet or Dundee Bonnet?

But there are keelies! -
Great to see Nathan in. Next season will be interesting to see if he can get some games instead of Tav. In the not too distant I can see Scott Wright squeezing in.

Actually, if you accept Scots is a language then technically the past participle 'gone' indeed does not exist. 'Went' would be correct; trouble is most Scots speak a confused mixture of Scottish English and Scots (the two are not interchangeable).I was just reacting to Gribz's outrageous description of Charlie Adam. -
It's libel without question. Our legal eagles should go for her.

That's a bit over the top. Gerrard says 'listen' a lot too. Adam has been ok as a pundit. Talking about vocab skills I'm fed up hearing "he has WENT for the ball." Doesn't the past participle exist in Scotland? If you want to criticise someone's vocab. skills. -
Whoa! It's not 'leftism'. I well remember the BBC doctoring video footage to shows miners ostensibly attacking police in the 1984 miners' strike. To say nothing of the propaganda used to justify the Iraq War. But I agree there is now clearly a propaganda war v us.

Come on Linfield!

Thanks for correcting that mistake but it doesn't detract from my point.

I clearly heard Tom English on the radio last night saying that he was disappointed that the club statement mentioned everything in the "Anyone Everyone" campaign except sectarianism; that is blatantly untrue as the above statement shows. I get all of the anger against people ripping up bollards and attacking police and throwing bottles; what I don't get is the attempts to manufacture sectarianism. I have heard that Connor Goldson is catholic, and we all know Gerrard is, so why on earth would they put up with anything anti-catholic in their own dressing room? This in a squad with only 2 Scottish first team players?

Last time I remember the police were criticised for giving the crowd an escort into the town. Now they stand back and are criticised. You can't win.

Wow.

? Spelling alert! Brian Cant!

Kant must have had similar thoughts too.

Sure don't - they're smaller. Remember when we used to finish school we'd bomb down to the factory, climb over the wall and fill our schoolbags with the rejects till mum told me off, saying they were the floor sweepings!

Well said. My mum made Penguins in Hillington and an uncle worked for UB. I didn't agree with you seeming to trivialise the Palestinian situation but double standards seems to be the stock-in-trade of the SNP.

No grumble at all with that decision. I just remember the pelters some fans gave him when he left the club for the first time. What would they say now?

Rangers 'B' team to take part in Lowland League next season
alexscottislegend replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
Well, I think it's a great idea. Would like to see the club officially brand them as the Swifts though. It's surely better than random loans out. -
I'm not so sure; I remember him scoring a cracker v Celtic youths when he cut in from the right on to his left and v St Mirren there he went past his man on the outside on the left for his assist, so...
-
Thanks for posting that - I was thinking which thread to put it in. Brilliant 15 minute cameo: an assist, bit of skill to win the free kick then scores. And a lovely interview from him afterwards. Surely he still has a future with us? Even as understudy to Kent.
-
Or Bearsden? I've met people who've been to Beersdon.

Yes. Some of our loan players are doing well. Seen young Maxwell at QoS - he could be a left-sided Patterson. And McPake has just won a Wembley medal! Really would like to see them make it into matchday squads.
