  1. I wouldn't worry too much about the goal diff. - last season they were ahead (big win v Hamilton I think) but we just kept winning and keeping clean sheets.
  2. Wish these journalists would listen to questions already asked - so often SG has to repeat himself.
  3. Hagi played like a man possessed last night; I've never seen him quite so up for it. Suggests to me he badly wants to stay.
  4. I'm baffled as to exactly who he will be competing with: Lundstram, Hagi, Aribo, Sakala?
  5. Kamara returning next week will be crucial I feel.
  6. He had no need to make either challenge.
  7. Chesterfield? Don'r remind me - I was there that night.?
  8. Agree totally. Alex more of a speed merchant.
  9. A legend. Under-rated away from Ibrox I would say.
  10. The best ever. "Nobody ever only scores goals."
  11. If it's some kind of mental problem then surely to goodness we have psychology coaches in the team somewhere. In sports like snooker their input is vital. If not, now is the time to recruit some.
  12. Wee bit off topic maybe, but the Australians, instead of saying, "Who do you support?" say, "Who do you barrack for?" Which I always found funny. Certainly there were people 'barracking' our team last night!
  13. Unless you are SEVERAL goals up by 70 minutes the outcomes are not obvious. After 70 mins in Malmo you could have said the outcome was obvious, but look what happened. When they were winning thier tainted titles, Keltic regularly nicked victories in the last twenty minutes, a habit I thought we had begun t pick up. And look at the times ManU clinched things in injury time, so much so that that it was known as 'Fergie time..' In many of those instances the outcome seemed 'obvious' after 70 minutes. The team desperately needed our support in the last third of the game and those supporters should have been encouraging them. Admittedly tv can deceive, but I didn't get the impression that they were.
  14. It looks like someone put the Fiorentina strip in the wash and it ran. I heard that we only wore it because Malmo turned up without a change strip? Make them play shirtless I say.
  15. That point may be closer to the truth than some of us think. Complacency is not easily shrugged off - it can be absorbed into your very fibres. The late Bobby Robson used to say that you cannot switch form on like turning on a tap.
  16. To a point, but are Malmo better than Benfica or Galatasaray for example? They were 68th in Eufa rankings: we are 40th.
  17. I live 350-odd miles away. Outcomes are never obvious after 70 minutes. If you had been in Malmo, by that logic you would have left after their second goal.
  18. SG just said that he "can't think of too many things that we got wrong." How about tactics? Malmo's were brilliant you have to say.
  19. Walter had some awful European nights with arguably better players; AEK Athens for one.
  20. Couldn't care less about the Europa League now. We need to get into the big one - and that means retaining the league. We need Jack and Kamara; I never realise how dependent we are on those two. Whoever we sell it should not be Kamara.
  21. Like watching 2 different teams. Funnily enough I think we would have done better if they had had eleven men on whole game.
  22. Sod those 'fans' for leaving ten minutes before the end. I remember us scoring 2 in the last four minutes in 1969 v Athletic Bilbao.
