  1. I wonder if the supposed Aston Villa fan had ever heard of him. Had he played in England he would have been spoken of in the same breath as Dave Mackay or Denis Law.
  2. Wow! I certainly believe Aberdeen lie down to the green hordes and play out of their skins v us. Gilmour and Ferguson? Agree entirely. Not sure McLean is better than Calmac; his passing is erratic, but he is definitely one of Clarke's favourites and a certainty for the Euros. One reason Taylor gets in ahead of say, Doig, is because the manager aims at consistency of selection: you don't get that by changing and chopping according to form. Shankland is worthy of a start, but Dykes and Adams have proved their worth over a period so you don't suddenly jettison experience.
  3. Nippon Emerald have yet another home draw. Even on the law of averages this would be unlikely. Time this was investigated by the council for arbitration or whatever it is called.
  4. If we are to reverse that, we will need to pay more Scots in the Rangers team. Jack would always be first choice but for his injuries; he is not an alternative to McGregor who is left-sided and more attacking. Souttar would also have had more caps if he had not had such a horrendous injury list.
  5. Then why consistently post about them?
  6. Another gentleman of football, like Bobby Charlton. Great player as well as a great manager, unlike the latter.
  7. Let's have 10 minutes injury time!
  8. Lammers and McAusland to ....save the day?
  9. At least we now know what's needed in January except it's too late.
  10. Sorry I'm not in the mood for it...
  11. Meanwhile Keltic women are beating Aberdeen 9-0; even v the women they lie down.🤔
  12. I'd do a deal: you can have the pifflin' Viaplay Cup if we win this match.
  13. You'd think that Clement would know that though?
  14. Remember when Beale said Cifuentes would take us to another level? He was right.
  15. He's always blown hot and cold to be fair.
  16. If Clemente can turn this round at half-time then he is truly a genius.
  17. Even the BBC are noting that these scumbags try harder against us and lie down when they play Keltic. This never happened in the days of Fergie when they regularly stuffed both of us.
  18. Barring Jack, that's probably out strongest starting line-up.
  19. I always had suspicions you were a Borders Reiver. I refer you to "Armstrong's Last Goodnight" by John Arden.🤣
  20. At the end of the season we may well look back on them dropping points today as the turning point.
  21. Problem is he performs a unique role for both; neither have a replacement in terms of role or ability.
  22. This very much reflects the average age profile of this board, I would think; it's firmly of the modern era. Though, for example, I have heard of Jerry Dawson spoken of as our greatest keeper, though he was before my time. Not arguing with it though.
  23. I'm baffled; where is the centre half in that diagram? I would never have called Doug Baillie or Bill Paterson full backs.
  24. He was a natural footballer; you can play a natural footballer anywhere.
  25. You cannot leave Slim Jim out of any Rangers team.
