  1. They used to call it 'Fergie time.' Now it's Rodgers' Law: to whit, if Celtic can't score after 90 minutes then the game will end when they equalise or take the lead, however long it takes. 5 or 6 minutes injury time I can accept; 15 minutes is outrageous, unless in very abnormal circumstances.
  2. Not the same and you know it. I'm offended because it implies only English fought the Germans; Scottish, Welsh and NI fans don't sing it as far as I know. The MoJo thing was just pure banter so it was.
  3. Well their supporters won't be able to sing that offensive song about ten German bombers anymore!
  4. Tad harsh. Some good players, some good enough for Serie A but this is the top league we are in.
  5. No. There is no another manager available; Moyes has virtually ruled himself out.
  6. Because Adams plays for a top Serie A side and has been scoring lately. He didn't start in place of Dykes as he had been feeling unwell.
  7. Problem is who would/could replace him? We won't get a high profile manager. At least Clarke has now realised his approach in the Euros was far too defensive.
  8. Remember how he was excellent at headers despite not being so tall. He had a funny loping run though.
  9. Cammy F - where were you on the 4th of Oct? You are not obliged to say anything but.......
  10. We will have to spend a lot of money to replace him with someone who can guarantee 20 plus goals and exhibit none of the characteristics you complain about.
  11. Yes it's time we stopped making comments about Scottish referees; we've been cheated often enough in Europe too.
  12. Agree except the manager can do nothing about the inability of Cerny to take, for example, to miss chances.
  13. Yes and we should not be too smug about their failures; it harms us as we do our utmost to increase Scotland's co-efficient only for them to piss it up the wall. It's likely that soon our champions will have to complete endless qualifying rounds and not even be seeded. We can do our bit on Thursday but the real problem is the nature of the Scottish League; it's comprised of endless loan players, foreigners who are very substandard and teams who change their line up every season ensuring no continuity. I can't name one St Johnstone or Hibs player for example. The only way the league improves is to develop our own - players like Barron, Lennon Miller and David Watson. And don't give me that tired old excuse that the SPL is too competitive.
  14. The Keltic embarrassing Scottish football yet again.
  15. US: "You're playing all the wrong players!" CLEMENTE: "No, I'm playing all the right players, just not necessarily in the right positions!"
  16. Think it's also down to the fact that we are usually underdogs in Europe, whereas at home we are expected to win against all but one team. Also we are not having to deal with ultra-defensive set-ups.
  17. Cerny should be backup to Ross, not the other way around.
  18. Well it's high time we ended the Indian sign that Malmo have had over us. All our previous tussles were winnable and we shot ourselves in the foot each time.
  19. We do need to somehow exit the SPL. The other lot are streaking away from us financially and we are unlikely to get investment of the Wrexham type unless we are in a better league.
  20. Certainly if we were to go down the ManCity and Newcastle route, we would have lost the soul of our club.
  21. We seem to be back to where we were in 1976. There must be some Hollywood titans out there who can see our potential; after all, 2 stars (whom I've never heard of) settled on Wrexham, a club with a limited fanbase.
  22. If there is any truth at all in this then I know the lunatics have taken over. He's nearly Tav's age and won't offer anything different; for one thing he won't score goals and free kicks.
