  1. Once you get the site, then what do you do? Do you have to sign up? sorry my IT skills are stone age.
  2. Pre-Mendes we could see how much Barry was missed. I actually agree with BOTH sides of the argument here - those who are pro-Barry and those who want to see him punted. Competition for his place - and remember we could play Davis and Mendes in the centre - is just what's needed to settle the argument once and for all.
  3. If true, this is terrible news. I actually think pre-injury he was showing more potential than Hutton. But why won't the club just come clean and tell us? I think the old Kremlin were more communicative than Rangers F.C.
  4. But would we then have beaten Aalborg?
  5. That's a great point there about the U.S. DJBlue. If the Devil's Xl can go hawking themselves in the Far East, we need to tap in to the great Rangers diaspora (lot of supporters' clubs in Canada and Australia including my cousin and his son.)
  6. Yeh, but he could have stayed at Portsmouth - it's not as though they didn't want him. Also he's 29. We could have him for the best of his peak years.
  7. Difference this time is that Pedro signed for us KNOWING there would be no Euro football this year.
  8. Tannochside - I remember Souness being in contention, but many were against him because of his abrasive style. He would have fallen out with too many players. Can you imagine him upsetting say Faddy and McGregor? I actually think Levein would be a good choice but at the time he was keen to show loyalty to dundee U. the same as McGhee wouldn't walk out on M'well.
  9. Agree with you re Steven Fletcher and Miller in attack - worth a try. The other Fletcher worries me though - he is alsmost guatanteed to give cheap possession away. The right flank is our problem position at the moment - don't fancy Brown there.
  10. Unfortunately that 'limited ability ' tag looks set to follow Kirk the rest of his career. Hearing him speak on the radio afterwards showed me that he has the perfect attitude, though. Really hope this will get the detractors off his back; doubt it though. That insult could actually turn out to be the best thing that's happened to him.
  11. Broadfoot has just scored! GIRUY all your detractors.
  12. Fraser - Morrison's not fit. Notice you're "British and Scottish." Nice one. But just one 't' in 'British'!
  13. I'm not against the saltires, lions rampants etc. - I was referring to the St. George's flags and the overkill when England are in a competition finals. I just don't think we should be small-minded enough to allow our club affiliations to affect our wish for the national team to do well. I'd like to know, for example, who should be playing instead of McManus, assuming Weir and Webster are not available. Hand on heart, I couldn't say I would rather Weir took McManus' place; the guy may play for THEM but he wins a lot of last-ditch tackles and headers.
  14. My God! Jimmy Shand. You must remember the White Heather Club, Frankie.
  15. In theory, yes. But just look at the scoring stats. of Lafferty and Miller and think about them together!
  16. Good response Gribz. I admire the way you've given a cool, considered response. I can't write well when I'm angry!
  17. I couldn't disagree more. Rangers are a proud SCOTTISH club and anyone who does not back their country is a traitor IMO. I hate McGeady for turning his back on his country, not because he plays for THEM. In fact, I couldn't care less if they ALL came from Parkhead, I'd still be cheering if they help Scotland to any victory. Some of you guys should be living in England and see what we have to put up with every time there's a competition England are in - all the silly flags on cars etc. They don't care if players come from Arsenal or Man U or whatever and neither should we. In the current situation, injury deprived us of Rangers players - it's totally irrelevant that the OF match resulted in some international players being on the losing side. Some people of my nation need to grow up. And btw 'Flower of Scotland' makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck!
  18. And just who is 'the player he keeps off the pitch?' Beasley? Aaron? McCulloch? Lafferty? Actually I thought he did o.k. at the helldome. Was there for his defensive work, tracking back, keeping Hinkel and Nakamura quiet. His confidence is gone. Would help if he didn't get the Broadfoot treatment.
  19. If you read the article you'll see that he was clearly critical of Boruc for sticking up the middle finger, and roundly condemned C****c fans for singing songs about the IRA giving the bullet to Nacho. I don't think you can say he holds any brief for the Tims.
  20. Thomson pulled out injured. Do try and keep up.
  21. That's the spirit Fraser - no temptation to show Rangers bias by inc. McG in goal. Think Morrison is a doubt though, may be fit for Wed.
  22. You must be talking from experience.
  23. You've made me splutter my Coco Pops all over the keyboard!
  24. Apparently so. Scotland are about 15th but other countries including Ukraine are close to us. Co-efficient starts with about half made up from country's ranking then the previous season's club points.
  25. Just out of interest, where did you stand on Mo Johnston? does the fact he was a better player than KM count for anything? Also remember KM was in Royal Blue long before he was in green and white.
