  1. Funny that Davis and Ferguson is seen as a good combination, when we never seemed to try them for any length of time anyway. Would be just typical if he goes there and hits it off. Why can't we get our good players playing well for US?
  2. Prediction for Saturday mate?
  3. Signed it, albeit with some misgivings. On viewing the signatures, noticed a lot of spurious ones which are quite frankly, embarrassing.
  4. Fleck scores!! Maybe this will do his confidence a power of good.
  5. But he's being played out of position - he's normally an anchor man:)
  6. Is this yet more evidence that Nacho doesn't do it for us when he starts?
  7. Tends to do that 2-3 times during a broadcast. Just have to click back on.. You're obviously not used to listening to Rqadio Scotland unlike us exiles.
  8. Now we need our youngsters to hold firm. Come on!
  9. 1-1. Keep your eye on this boy Griffiths. 12 goals this season. He could be one for us to go for, shouldn't be beyond even our restricted finances.
  10. Thanks for that. Depressing though. Guess we can only hope the King deal goes through.
  11. So the club were actually lying in the 'official' statement when they said we did not have to sell players in the January window? If we are as bad as that then the sooner they go the better.
  12. I just have one question here - a couple of seasons ago our debts were supposed to be lessening, thanks to the Champions League money and I thought that as long as we kept qualifying/having a run we were keeping our heads above water. All right, there would be little money for new players but it did not sound like the doomsday scenario. So what changed? Was it the Kaunas result? Did the Eufa run count for nothing?
  13. He scored that wonder goal v Sporting Lisbon from the right back position, and has contributed a lot more goals than Hutton.
  14. You sure about that? I thought he hated the OF (sorry MF for bracketing them together) equally because of dodgy decisions given v his team. that said, I think he lacks the dignity we would want to see from a Gers boss.
  15. Shame on our coaching staff if we couldn't get his fitness levels up.
  16. He would be a brilliant appointment but I guess financially he is out of our league. But at least it shows there are candidates.
  17. Our best players are Weir, Fleck'n' Rothen! Sorry nicked that from another forum.
  18. Is that the Alan Irvine who was an Everton winger, or his namesake who was an ex-Falkirk Centre Forward? I'm never quite sure. Think they both played for Everton.
  19. Hear! Hear! And I still the remember the shock I felt the day he was sacked. Never quite took to Davie White though.
  20. Just serves the ungrateful Bheasts right - it was only a matter of time before a big club came in for him. They didn't appreciate what they had at the time, and now look who they have instead!
  21. Nacho seems to be better coming off the bench; it's as if he has something to prove, and I'd want to keep that. He has started on occasion, but never with the same effect as a sub.
  22. Not advocating it, but I've heard worse suggestions.
  23. And the fact that they don't care must be because they have no faith in the management. I once sat and suffered when we lost 1-0 at home to Morton in the pre-Souness era. The manager was one Jock Wallace and the crowd was - 5,000. We're heading that way again. Just because we are managed by a legend doesn't mean he doesn't have a sell-by date. I'm wondering about Lawrie Sachez. What's he doing these days? Wee Dick's still a fan according to him. Surely we could find the money?
