  1. Certainly if we were to go down the ManCity and Newcastle route, we would have lost the soul of our club.
  2. We seem to be back to where we were in 1976. There must be some Hollywood titans out there who can see our potential; after all, 2 stars (whom I've never heard of) settled on Wrexham, a club with a limited fanbase.
  3. If there is any truth at all in this then I know the lunatics have taken over. He's nearly Tav's age and won't offer anything different; for one thing he won't score goals and free kicks.
  4. Godsake, give me some good news someone! I hear that Tav could be Turkey-bound; if so, why has he just bought a flat in Glasgow? Is he shaping up to be player-manager? Here's a thought? Would you welcome back Gerrard?
  5. To be replaced by....? Who would take the job? McInnes?
  6. Scotland are the Rangers of international football! Ronnie Yeats died yesterday; only got 2 caps because he was competing v McKinnon, McNeill and Ian Ure for example. Now we cannot produce centre halves.
  7. I doubt if even McInnes could make a defender out of Tav.
  8. I have. They went out of europe early and were free to concentrate on the league; we battled on 2 fronts.
  9. We're winning on bookings 4-1!
  10. So we don't bother trying in Europe and lose even more cash?
  11. He's not brave enough to drop Tav and play Sterling at RB.
  12. So - is it damage limitation second half or should we have a go and throw everything at them? Thing is I don't think they are that good - doubt they will win a game in the CL.
  13. When Greg Taylor is better than any of our full backs then you know we are in trouble.
  14. I'll take a draw right now. Would give us breathing space till the next time.
  15. Nevertheless, we cannot keep missing chances. Composure, composure!
  16. No he hasn't. We couldn't even manage that while their last-minute signings have made it.
  17. And let's not forget they have lost their best player by far - O'Riley. They cannot expect the newcomers to click right away. Think Sterling is in to do a job on McGregor - a job Cantwell singularly failed to do.
  18. There's cynical.....and then there is @ranger_syntax!
  19. Well I thought he came good on Saturday though it was only v Rossco.
  20. But, but...he's a left winger and we need a 10! Hope this doesn't mean goodbye to Matondo..
  21. Yes and if by some mischance we do happen to sell him we'd better find somebody pretty damned quick who can guarantee 20 plus goals a season not inc. penalties and stay fit. Good luck with that.
  22. Dessers! Now let's see if the doubters get off his back...
  23. If he had put as much effort into his football as his hairstyle he would have been a player.
