Rangers and Gala Fairydean Rovers Partnership

The grammar in that article is appalling by the way. Was that written by a so-called professional journalist? -

Are they not in the process of re-forming in the junior leagues? -
Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020

Didn't know about that but it's his football ability which matters to me. -

Don't get the antipathy on here to Cammy Bell. I remember him being absolutely brilliant against Keltic in the League Cup final which Killie won not long ago. -
Minute's silence at next Ibrox game?

The Guardian (including associated Sports Direct chat)

In fairness, it was difficult for us and he wasn't actually the owner of us. Plus Newcastle don't have their version of Dave King. I think our supporters should offer advice to them and any help we can give - it's in our mutual interests. -
I heard it on Radio 3 this morning. When I heard the phrase'..'former Glasgow Rangers footballer..' I knew nothing good was to follow.
-
Give him a seat on the board; that might put an end to such speculation. He certainly wouldn't be out of place there given his background. We did it with Walter.

If we can breathe a sigh of relief now then rest assured it will happen in the near future every time a big job comes up. I'm terrified that when we eventually do lose him who we will get. No way could McInnes fill his boots now for example. I just cannot imagine a credible candidate who can give us stability by staying for a decent length of time. Wouldn't be so bad if Weir was groomed as his successor, thus assuring continuity but it is now normal in these situations for coaches to take their assistants with them.
-
There's no doubt he will go at some point in the future; just hope it's not before we get into Europe. And hopefully he can groom sir David as his successor.
-
Yeah, just think what we could do with really good players!

Dutch hooligans "plan violent clashes"...

This manager must be the worst Keltic have ever had. If he stays we have nothing to fear..seriously. -
TBH we don't really need to strengthen to be better than this lot. We ought to to be able to beat them now. Let's hope we get a crack in the Scottish Cup. I'd say Hibs are better right now.
-
This is not funny at all, at all. A mid-table Norwegian team beating the best that the SPL has to offer, one of the goals scored by a 40 year old. And we aspire to join this league? Better apply to the English Conference. Seriously.

Dave King Statement RE: Retail deal

Seems like the only thing to do is to stop buying any of their products. Maybe the RST could campaign on this. -
PRESS CONFERENCE | Mark Warburton | 15 Oct 2015

God, what a good talker this guy is. Could listen to him for hours. -
Remember him from his youth days. Good to see that we seem to be moving into the modern age. Mentality is an important facet of modern football and I guess that would be his remit - to improve that aspect for us.

There is a squad like that. It's called Northern Ireland.

Celtic: Future British league set-up remains ambition
alexscottislegend replied to Bearman's topic in General Football Chat
Agree with this. The Euro League must come sooner rather than later; look at big clubs like Ajax, Feyenoord. Benfica - they must be sick of the financial disparity with clubs like Stoke city. Also, with the very real possibility of Scotland becoming independent, we would only have to secede from any British League. -
Split Centre-Backs And The Need For A Pivot
alexscottislegend replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
For those of us who date back to the fifties, the term 'pivot' meant a centre half, who sat between the left and right backs... Think George Young, Ronnie McKinnon eg. -
Which begs the question: when we were desperate for centre backs why wasn't he given a chance? OH...Ally
