  1. All credit to Graeme Murty; too often that passion was missing under Warburton. Hope he is retained in some capacity.
  2. Right - I think his name is pronounced, 'Ka- SHEE-na.
  3. I don't normally approve of bad language but here I couldn't put it so politely.
  4. er..wasn't that Christine?
  5. Certainly was. Seriously, could we make a pitch for him I wonder?
  6. I remember it too, you weren't dreaming. What would we give for a centre back like that today. As for Roger, not the greatest player but a 100% man. RIP
  7. It's all very well being snide and dismissive but the key point is that Keltic lured a high profile manager who could facilitate signings like this. We need someone with a decent status who could do the same. Frank de Boer springs to mind as one with his contacts. Can't see Billy Davies or McInnes doing what Rogers did.
  8. Wasn't the appointment of Jim Traynor meant to counteract the meddling of such as English? Why do we not hear of him? Has he resigned?
  9. And for that reason alone I wouldn't want us to be tainted by him. Guilt by association.
  10. We’ve got a responsibility to his parent club. We have got to look after their asset.” In that statement we have all the evidence we need to quit using the loan system. Rangers should never be a nursery club for anyone. MW has from the off declared he is a fan of the loan system. Time to bin it except in direst emergency.
  11. What would we do without this guy, K. Miller? Cannot understand why he has so many detractors on here.
  12. I think you will always get morons at these minute silences. It may be time to stop them altogether; we seem to get them now for events nothing to do with football. It's too embarrassing to have them constantly interrupted and modern people have no respect. I remember the days when everyone stopped for a funeral procession; now they're all in too much of a hurry to get to their work or whatever.
  13. Disagree - 2 good centre halves who complement each other.
  14. Just hold out till h/t; we have been the better side.
  15. Booking for Brown - he's on a tightrope now. Get at him!
  16. To think that's there's some on here just love to denigrate him.
  17. I'd take that again in a heartbeat. I want us to win with a deflected free kick in the 94th minute after being outplayed for the whole game; sod this playing well and losing. Just win Rangers!
  18. Only slightly off-topic, but what do bears think about the idea of entering the Colts in the League? Double benefit for us; regular football against adults, and the fact of a presence in the SFL if we eventually get the chance to join a cross-border league. Think we have been badly hit by the loss of reserve football.
  19. Can some one please clarify just why Butcher is not accepted by so many bears when he played for us for good number of years with such distinction?
  20. ... set to be appointed performance director by SFA just as they announce enquiry into child abuse. A fit and proper person to be out in charge of young people after his appalling racial and misogynistic comments? How can one have confidence in their enquiry now? Terrible timing. Ok he wasnt suspected of you-know what, but he has been shown as having poor judgement. There's a reason why he can't get a job in England.
  21. I think he's made very dignified comments. He was his own worst enemy sadly. That comment was made before he came and I now see the truth of it.
  22. If he'd been fit could have been a great signing for us. Tragic as everyone has said. But we have had a habit of signing players with injury problems - Rozenthal fron Chile? for example.
  23. Do you know, you're right about him being ahead of his time. He was in the Beckenbauer school of sweeper, he just seemed to have all the time in the world.
  24. You are a wee bit harsh I think. Not sure he is that bad a defender.
