  1. But will it save Pedro?
  2. Does that mean we get rid of any connection to him? Or is that too much to hope for?
  3. Armstrong wasn't playing?
  4. Yeah, he's ex-Keltic. But name me any Rangers ex-player who could do it? McInnes the only one I can think of. 'THEY' have more names available, simple,no conspiracy tosh.
  5. And that standard doesn't seem to bother Wales and the two Irelands much; England select from the the premier but the others are mainly from the championship lower leagues inc. EFL 1. SPL is poor but how do we increase the competition? When we can compete with Keltic that would be a start.
  6. Would love to see Rangers players form the nucleus but your argument has no logic; if the best team was, say, Hearts, then they should form the nucleus of the national side. Just unfortunate it happens to be THEM.
  7. Definitely not McLean - he will just duplicate Dorrans. Walker, yes.
  8. Reminds me how some fans were reluctant to call Kevin Drinkell by his real name and settled for Billy!
  9. He can also do a turn at right back if we need cover there. Don't get the Rossiter fan club. I haven't seen much from him, injury notwithstanding.
  10. Underwhelmed, not least because it's a loan signing again. Let's hope this doesn't presage the Warburton pattern of assembling a guns for hire team. Vladimir Weiss apart, most loanees have no affinity with the club.
  11. He could do with reading 'If' by Kipling! Scott Allan that is...
  12. Jeez..first Shakespeare now Sir Walter Scott! Burns next?
  13. And Garner as well has a couple for Ipswich. O'Halloran now has 2 for St Johnstone - I could never have seen him scoring a goal for us like the solo effort he got last week. There must be something about the special pressure of playing for Rangers; never used to believe it but now I'm starting to think again.
  14. McLean? Why? Who would he be first choice over? Krancjar, Jack or Dorrans?
  15. It doesn't just happen to us you know; anyone see Chelsea go down to 10 men with a Cahill challenge that should only have been a yellow? Similar result too. But I'll grant you Burnley are not managed by Neil Lennon.
  16. You're a brave man coming out with that but honestly, man for man Hibs should not be better than us. It's Pedro who is now in the dock. I feared Progress Niedercorn exposed deeper concerns.
  17. Shakespeare Loyal!
  18. Jack was outstanding v Sheff Wed. He is a ball winner but can be constructive too. Can also play at right back - we may need to try him there. Who would McLean replace? I can only think Dorrans and that is non-starter. Unless he will be a decent squad member. I'd say we have other priorities though, like a Miller replacement.
  19. We've certainly suffered the 'slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.' See what you've started?
  20. Windass scores! Reduced to following the DR twitter but they have been praising Jack and Dorrans.
  21. At the time I really wanted us to 'modernise' and sign a catholic (even though we had several low-profile ones before MoJo) but I just didn't want it to be HIM! In retrospect, the projected loss of support never materialised. Wonder what trueblue would have said had Naismith worn a green and white top!
  22. There's no reason why you should; Mo Johnston was given an easier time than some have given to Naismith on here. And I thought he apologised for his earlier statements?
  23. Is that really so?
  24. So you would be happy for us never playing at Europe's top table ? Because that is what it would mean when our co-efficient sinks; we won't be seeded and will meet the big teams far sooner.
  25. Pete, there are people who remember Berwick and Progres was far worse.
