  1. Thanks. Either way it's encouraging.
  2. I've also heard him say he loves Scotland seemed to be linked with Hearts at one time.
  3. Thought Robbie McCrorie was regarded as a great prospect?
  4. I probably did. Sorry! McG and Fod would be a good one and two IMO.
  5. He's younger than Buffon who is still in demand; keepers mature much later.
  6. Think you meant inexperience should not rule anyone out! MW only had Brentford, true. Low had better raw material than we have currently. Whoever takes over will need assurances about a transfer kitty; Mourinho wouldn't be able to do anything with us right now.
  7. Well, that's what it turned out to be with Souness - he always wanted to mange L'pool and Gerrard probably the same.
  8. The Potter-Reid axis is eerily similar to the Warburton-Weir one: inexperienced Englishman plus Scots assistant. So I dunno either.
  9. No he's not - he's retired, hasn't he? Just like Sir Alex.
  10. Me too. but I KNEW Novo would score.
  11. Not surprising when we let Wilson and Bates leave.
  12. He must have potential or the Germans would never have signed him; there are not that many players from these shores make it in Germany. Think we might regret this. I suppose there's no sell-on fee as it's a pre-contract?
  13. By the way, he never liked being called Butch. Disappointed that Rangers reaction was not reported on the BBC stream when the news broke. It was quite a coup for us when we got him. My best memory was his goal in the 5-1, yet they kept showing his Man U goal with his left foot.
  14. If he was at any other club in Scotland he'd be getting a start and hopefully a run of games. Rather see that than have us go for Louis Moult.
  15. Anyone guess what team this correspondent supports? peter kelly2 hrs ago Personally, I hope Scotland get beaten tonight. The bigger the beating, the better it will be. And wether they get beat tonight or not, I hope they get beaten when they next play. And then beaten after that. In fact, if the Scottish team never won another game, never qualified for another finals, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. The Scottish Football Association is up to its neck in the goings on of one particular club, that is no longer with us, and it's replacement. From the probability that the SFA knew of contract side letters, to the awarding of a UEFA license, to awarding the new club a special membership, never seen before, or since, that allowed the new club to play its first ever game, and allow two Rangers Football Clubs to exist at the same time, to actively campaigning to allow the new club directly into the top league, to considering 'glib and shameless liars' as acceptable into Scottish football, to, no doubt, participating in the biggest cheating scandal to take place in Scottish, possibly, British, sport. And what is their final slap in the face to Scottish football fans, appointing EBT recipient, Alex McLeish, as Scottish football team manager. So no, I'll not be wishing this team well.
  16. I'd get Hardie back from loan and then we could play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 which would suit both him and Cummings.
  17. I can't remember the last time we had a Welsh international. Anyone help?
  18. Mr A. McCoist used to miss lots of chances too...
  19. It's beginning to look like our best paring is Martin and Bates.
  20. Whoa! Whoa! I clearly remember this man saying that he would never sell Rangers unless it was in the absolute interest of the club. Then he flogs us to Whyte. There used to be a poster on here called Maineflyer who consistently warned against Murray. Turns out he was right.
