  1. Makes me think of that stuff that folk made a fortune of from birds in the nineteenth century.
  2. He was excellent, covering up for Hanley's mistakes and poor positioning. Just needs to stay injury free and could be a future captain of Rangers and Scotland.
  3. Let us know what he has to say. I think RFC is still close to his heart though I hated him for dropping us for Liverpool at the time.
  4. I want to know what's happened to Bailey Rice. Think he was playing for Scotland under-19s the other night. If he is not going to be a starter for us then he should be let go. If 16 year olds can start and star for Barcelona or for EPL clubs then they can start in Scotland. Don't give me all this "the SPL is too competitive for youngsters as managers want to protect their jobs": the same applies in any of Europe's big leagues.
  5. Good call. Left back is another of our weak links now.
  6. Rubbish. A matter of public safety. Someone will get badly injured one day if it doesn't stop.
  7. Time these things were banned. With the surveillance we have shouldn't be difficult to identify who brings them in. Recently a player in Belgium lost 2 fingers trying to pick one up. They are not like ordinary fireworks.
  8. IF - if - we do sack him, a new manager will come in with a huge advantage: with no chairman, he won't need to fear the dreaded 'vote of confidence' from the chairman. So he will have the safest job in football.🤣
  9. I wanted to delete that post as Gonzo had already made the point but some of us will never manage modern technology!
  10. I think I agree with you for the same reason. Phil won't drop Tav and he will be run ragged again v Maeda.
  11. Looks like them will await us in the final if we get there. I don't want a repeat of the horror show we get when Tav faces up to Maeda.
  12. Russell Martin might be available soon. Just saying....
  13. I'm now hoping for a win; a draw is no use to anybody except them.
  14. You're probably right but I hate the thought of them winning it by Christmas.
  15. We should all encourage our inner juvenile. Though to be honest I would rather Aberdeen won the title than the Keltic.
  16. I'm worried and conflicted about Wednesday. While I should want Rangers to win every game they play, if we somehow win at Pittodrie, the only team who benefit are Keltic as I can't see them dropping any points to any team other than Aberdeen. A draw only puts us further behind and again aids the enemy.
  17. Why no Souttar? Injured? Never like seeing a goalie as captain though.
  18. Just seen the team! No Tav and Igamane instead of Dessers. Can this really be?
  19. Was that him? I could have sworn that WAS Davie Cooper.
  20. Why do you think that is though? Could it be that the Killie pitch didn't suit the likes of Cerny? Or is it more that the players see the prestige value of turning it on in Europe?
  21. Saw somebody else make that comment on the BBC comments section. Unless it was you? Agree though he could be a future captain.
  22. Be good to see Bajrami in his right position. Disagree with sutton_blows_goats though; I think Europe is now more important for several reasons: 1) the league is as good as gone now given Sunday's disaster; 2) a win earns as money; 3) progress earns us prestige and respect beyond these shores. Just wanting to win the poor Scottish league is parochial in the extreme in my view.
  23. He wasn't a 'showy' player - just quiet and efficient. Maybe that was the reason, but Clough was some judge of a player.
