  1. And he would be a distraction - a gift to the Scottish media.
  2. You've just written his job application for him!
  3. No of course not. If there is a way to celebrate it without the sometimes unpleasant attitudes displayed then I'm fine with it.
  4. In a way this reminds me of the day we signed Mojo. Cue scarve burning and threats never to return. Wee reminder; our crowds were down to 5,000 for some league games: post Souness we never looked back. I don't see the club rotting in hell. I'm a quarter Northern Irish and my great grandfather was in the Orange Order and lived right next to Ibrox, but I'm no bigot.
  5. Begs the question; we need the title.
  6. Nevertheless..nevertheless..if adopted, surely we could use it to our advantage too?
  7. The highlights one but no matter I saw them anyway, ta.
  8. "Non-football things" indeed!
  9. Presume he would replace Igamane as the latter would command a greater fee than Dessers.
  10. Oh bollox! Thought I'd got one over on Rousseau there!
  11. Kent cost £7m: we can get Cerny for 5.5 if we move before the end of May.
  12. Is Benitez Rafasaurus a dinosaur? Seen him quoted and he is available.
  13. Now there is a forgotten name - 'the wizard of the dribble they called him.'
  14. Can't blame Gordon for any of the goals though his distribution is dire - bit like Butland's.
  15. Really hard to argue with that. I'd have Dalglish on the sub bench though.
  16. Did you notice Bajrami? He got subbed but I didn't see him get the ball once.
  17. A tad tangential perhaps, but we have been 'inclusive' for a long time; I recall an Egyptian, name of Mohammed Latif, who played for us in the Edwardian period I think. Scott 7 and compo will tell us how good he was.
  18. Not quite. One is a national ideology; the other is an international ideology.
  19. The lack of specificity is a problem. I desire to know what the antonym of woke is.
  20. Re offence: you know there is tv programme I absolutely love called "Rumpole of the Bailey." Because it is from the eighties before each episode they give a warning that you may be offended by discriminatory language and views which reflect the times. Every time I am baffled by what is 'offensive' in the show. You know what, I am more offended by modern tv adverts which show women waggling their backsides and talking about their 'pee.' And it's a product called 'Discreet'. Anything less discreet I have not seen.
  21. I think it is just aping the Ultras of Rome and suchlike.
  22. Could that be the Craig, formerly of this parish and confidante of Kevin Thomson?
