  1. Oh ffs, so even when we're away from them for at least 3 seasons we're still looking for reasons to think about them and sing about them? Not for me. I'll be enjoying the fresher air without them.
  2. Highly impressed with his statement today, as I usually am, tbh. Whether he talks a good game only remains to be seen, but I can't see any alternative nor compelling reason to shun him. We are all Charles Green.
  3. I agree with lots of your post, mate, but not all of it. It's certainly a fresh start, and with that comes the chance for us fans to start anew just as much as the club. What point singing songs about celtc now, since we operate in a different (and, may I say, cleaner world) than them? What point concerning ourselves with them at all, at least for the foreseeable? It's something of a dream come true for me; I get to enjoy my football without having 'them' coming anywhere near it. It's certainly not how I would have wanted it to come about, mind you! Board representation is a pipe dream and will always remain so in UK football. It's just not going to happen, at least in any sort of a significant way. You can certainly become a socio and contribute, but if you expect anything more than a token gesture of thanks you'll be disappointed. And I can't make up my mind about revenge. Nah, I'm with you, sod maturity and lets hurt these swine.
  4. Wow. What a post. Anyone who chastises internet forums ought to clock that one. Wow.
  5. I can't blame Goian at all. My decision is made easier by the fact that I reckon his best days were already behind him when he signed, and his drop off in form at the end of last season was dramatic. I certainly feel sorry for him having his personal and family life disrupted, but as to effect on the pitch this is one we can absorb.
  6. I can't understand the half of that.
  7. Well, hmmm....maybe. It does sound like standard Scottish football practice, avoid making a decision now then hold an open application in which we would be voted in anyway, only some months later. But I still don't like the sound of it!
  8. I love your spirit, Foggy. You remind me of Old Minstral on RM before it went all mental. I may not hate the club concerned - indeed, I would say I don't care about them at all. But I would draw the line at putting money into the coffers of a team which tried to exclude The Rangers from Scottish Football.
  9. I do. Whoever it was can expect zero cash from me, now or ever.
  10. I had until you mentioned her...urrrgh. Not even if...not even. Never. I don't usually quote Rev Paisley, but NEVER!
  11. Stunningly tasty Irish lass on SSN from BoyleSports bookies was just discussing that, but I was so knocked out by her accent and face (and habit of bouncing up and down as she talked...I'm getting thirsty thinking about it) that I forgot what odds she quoted.
  12. Alright then, Billy Connolly doing a stand up tour to raise funds for those whose Sporting Integrity saw them fall, like some middle class character in Dickens, into the gutter. I like the Fratellis. Only reason I mentioned them is coz I've got 'Here We Stand' on as I type.
  13. That is something I'd like to know for future reference, indeed. Whoever it was must be so crazy as to make Craig Whyte and Di Stefano look normal.
  14. I think we'll see some form of rallying round if things pan out as badly as some expect, or hope. FitbaAid at Hampden with those well known non-OF fans Rod Stewart, Paolo Nutini and The Fartellis ought to kick things off; while Regan's office will be drafting measures aimed at increasing emergency aid to SPL clubs in bother. Friendlies are likely to be arranged with such disinterested parties as Sunderland and Norwich...one way or another they will band together to keep the intensive care cases breathing, if only just. Don't get too hopeful of some apocalpyse around the corner.
  15. What excellent statements. Cometh the hour, cometh the men. Well said Charles and Ally.
  16. If Ayr vote us into D3, and need £60g's to get thru the season, I know of a club without any pre-season who could play them. Easily raise that and more. If bribery is fine for others, it should be fine for us.
  17. I need help clearing up an issue about Regan. Does he rule by diktat, or is he part of a committie of some sort? For if, as seems likely, he gets the old heave-ho in the near future, we wouldn't be much further forward if the same mental policies continued to emanate from Hampden. Is this witch-hunt Regan's doing, or the SFA's doing?
  18. Sorry to be gloomy 1st thing in the morning, but nothing works in Scotland, because football and football society is dysfunctional here. Anything and everything is micro-examined to see how it 'helps the huns/tims'...no motives are ever genuine...and no-one, as a consequence, acts with good intent. The result is that things never get any better, only worse. It takes a better man than I to see a positive future emerging from all this mess.
  19. Or slow it down. I mean I understand and agree with the RST. I just don't think coming from a Rangers body it will do anything to get rid of him and may - may - create some sympathy. I could be totally wrong.
  20. Who knows? They may have stopped Whyte getting hold of us before. Frankly, I trust Clyde's board more than any of the last few at Ibrox.
  21. Mistimed, imo. Regan is under plenty enough pressure from other teams, us sticking our oar in only serves to engender support for the lying toad. We should keep our counsel when things are moving, even a wee bit, the way we want them to.
  22. I can't see a thing wrong with your writing style, Blue Moon. In fact, an article length post from you about why you were driven from the bias in the media to the much-vilified internet forums and what you found there (good and bad) would be most welcome....
  23. I must say that clip could be a 'Downfall' kind of spoof...Sydney Greenstreet for SDM. 'No wonder we had such an easy time stealing it!' Could be talking about The Rangers.
  24. I can see a good weekend or two on the horizon. Always a silver lining, I suppose.
  25. I did read a thread in the Help section about funding the site, and how being a smaller site meant easier logistics. Coming after I offered to try and organise more articles, I did wonder...someone should have told me to ease off a bit. Would you rather have a few less articles drawing in hits? Would it make a difference, or is it just increased Rangers attention which accounts for the increase? I could probably do with going outside occasionally.
