Thanks to all who set me right...Cribani it was. However, as a warning to Faure as to what we expect, I shall leave his name up there, just in case. -

I could be wrong - was it not he who was out muscled for their goal? And again at the death, for that great Alexander save? And again, when they scored what looked like a perfectly good goal at the end? I'm reluctant to sit through that again, so I will stand corrected if it was Boca or someone else. -
I must say, 'Ellis' is about the classiest female Christian name I've seen for a long time. Sounds like someone the Duke of Windsor would give up the throne for. Hope she doesn't have tattoos on her knuckles.

I can't see three at the back and MacLeod on the left giving us any more than we got yesterday. Berwick's right back, a big lad who must have thought all his Christmases had come at once, ended up looking like Dani Alves as he got up and down the flank with minimal difficulty. At least El Greco (must learn his name) stopped him delivering anything much once he got to our area, though that might have been more to do with lack of ability as anything else. Long story short, I think 3-5-2 with those players would have been just as bad if not worse - it would only have offered Berwick more space up the right than they already got. No way to prove it, of course. But considering how easily they got behind our lines with a back four, every chance a back three would have been even worse.

Wouldn't have bothered me, I'm not fussy about tactics. So who plays left midfield as part of the middle 5, then, MacLeod?

Black's ability to pass to a team mate three yards away was just as poor as everyone else's. Alexander 8, did well Perry 2 for playing both halves Argy 6 debut, out of position Boca 3 lousy Faure 3 lousy Black 3 lousy McCulloch 4 at least had an effort McKay 3 lousy but that's bound to happen at this stage MacLeod 3 as above Little 5 extra points for goal but overall lousy Sandaza 2 shit service but not imnpressive Kyle and Crawford get 5's for effort, Naismith 2. -
Who would you have played at LB then?
-
Or the defensive qualities for defending, Frankie. We may have thin resources but Perry is below an acceptable standard if yesterday is what he can do. Though it's fast becoming a cliche of Scottish football to say that there's more to Black's game than tough tackling, I've yet to see what it is.

Not how I remember it - I remember John Brown marking Cantona out the game until the last few minutes, by which point we were already celebrating. -

You'd imagine the 'source' would confide in someone who could spell. -

Aye well, openness is all well and good but there are some things you might be better keeping close to your chest until they're done. -
I had pencilled in a trip to Broadwood to see them play Annan in a week or so, to help with a match preview and because I just fancied going. I won't be doing that now. Only about £15 lost to Clyde, but there's just no way I'm even taking the chance of funding a club that wanted us out the league. Someone voted against; that is their right; but they had better be ready to take the consequences. Anyone with an ounce of gumption would have stood up and set out their stall but it seems the party concerned, Clyde or otherwise, hasn't got the balls.

Montgomery and Cresswell available from Sheffield Weds. Wonder if Charles has any friends in the city? -
Wassat? 'The love that is not dead?'

The great lost player of Scottish football! Imagine how much Bobby Russell would cost you nowadays. A man out of his time, sadly.

I think if we are paying higher wages than Malmo for internationalists while playing in D3, we are failing in fiscal management. I appreciate the need to build for D2 as well, but even so there's simply no need. -

You'd have to be insane to be a) an internationalist b) move to a 4th tier side c) in Scotland d) on the basis of a possible reconstruction. -
If nothing else, a reconstruction saga will reveal who is all mouth and no trousers. If the SPL clubs are indeed interested in sporting integrity (no laughing at the back, there) they will vote for a more equitable distribution of resources and a structure that allows greater promotion/relegation. If the SFL clubs are indeed as cross with Rhegan/Doncaster as they said they were, they will no doubt move to have the former at least removed rather than let him preside over reconstruction. But in reality I feel that the usual will happen, that the smaller clubs will be bought off with a bribe and the 'larger' clubs will retain superior voting/finance rights. How depressing will that be, if in say a year's time, all the pain and suffering of this year will have been essentially for nothing?

Just clicking 'agree' doesn't suggest how strongly I agree with GA's point above. I do get a bit narky with Goram poncing on the club like this. Doesn't he have a real job?

I meant invest in the broad sense, tickets, season tickets, merchandise, etc. rather than just a share issue.
-
I'm sorry to say that all our words are so much hot air. We have no say in what happens, can only look on, invest, and hope for the best.

I copy/pasted Herald comments by mistake originally; it seems Charles is really, really pissing off the haters. Which explains where Rhegan is getting his briefings from, anyway.
