Bit ill-advised for me, I can see how that would put some people off. But each to their own.

Looks can be deceiving, and are ephemeral anyway. Look at the US Office and that new crime drama starring James Spader. Wtf happened to him? I thought he still looked like he did in 'Stargate', all floppy hair and the eternal student look, and it turns out he's old & fat. Craig Whyte is James Spader.

I dunno, might be the Assembly? I can't keep up with the fan bodies we have - when I want to go to a game I drive up to Govan and buy some tickets, so I don't use them much. At all, really.

I have to tell you that only last month, poster Brahim Hemdani was obliged to chastise me thoroughly over my use of coarse, crude language. I have an image of him to this day as Mr Thwacky off 'The Bash Street Kids'. We can be childish too!

Drew Robertson, I think. Comes across as smart and capable enough to me.

That's too narrow and defensive an interpretation to put on it from Calscot. Just as Wilson of The Herald did, Jackson is summing up what has happened and, at the same time, filling his column inches with what his readers like to see - stuff about the OF. But more than that, it's Jackson campaigning on behalf of his source, Paul Murray, ahead of the AGM.

A MVL would have to be passed by a majority of shareholders - surely there is no way it would happen? You'd imagine not. But I wouldn't put it past a bunch of mentalist Tims to have bought up a controlling interest to drive us into the ground.
-
No doubt some will blame Murray for forcing another £300k out the door. If MVL is on the table then there is no doubt, we're being run by Tims.

Claws in, Madam! I wish I'd copied that picture of 'Blakey' from On The Buses someone posted last week...it's what I think of every time I see the name 'Easdale'.

Like others, I'm almost as interested in the lack of Irvine's name on the City announcement. As much as I look forward to no more intelligence insulting releases under Mather's name, the assumption has always been that Irvine was writing them. But I suppose, if he's working for the Easdales, and they are still there, it might be too much to hope for that he'll be following the resignees out the door. Another question I have is, do they stand in line for any sort of package? Surely not, if they have resigned?

It's the coaching, man. Our teams hold their own with the world's finest right up to u-21 level (sometimes even there) but as soon as SPL first team coaches get hold of them, they just plummet. I know the papers & the radio won't slag these guys off, because they need them for interviews and the like. But there ain't many coaches I would keep in place.

You have to imagine that at some point down the line, there will a period with three games a week for a good few weeks sitting before you, and you'll be like Al Pacino looking at his giant pile of cocaine in 'Scarface'.

You can't be too careful! Look at Spurs-West Ham fans the other week, and all the Italian cobblers. And posters of a certain age will remember Alexei Sayle as a mediaeval jester in 'The Young Ones'... 'What was your crime?' 'Whistling on a Tuesday, jester....' 'You bastard!!!'

I went back to school 5 years ago and have now (thank God) only six months left before I emerge, portly and overage, the proud possessor of one of your actual degrees. Surely to God I can do better than filling shelves with that behind me. Mind you, if that's all there is, I'll take it. Thanks to Frankie for posting. Sorry if the article is a bit gloomy...it's hard to find anything to write about that isn't boardroom stuff in this quiet, quiet international week. I wasn't bothered at the time but I wish we had just played Dunfermline now, you kind of feel the momentum of some good wins has evaporated a bit.

If I ran a top division club with a history of antipathy to Rangers, I'd curry favour with the fans by offering a few hundred thousand in January for McLeod. & if he gets sold out from under us we'll know that the board are really at it!

I take your point, but the final few paragraphs of that statement can only be read as a child stamping its' foot and saying 'It's not fair!!!!"' -

Hurray, another thread descends into RM/FF style abuse thanks to a new member! It's like a favourite pub, some trumpets always start drinking there and spoil it. And 'no-one' is the answer to 'who died and made you a mod'. -
You can turn off the videos by pressing that wee arrow icon beside them. I had to, the sound of his mogadon droning was most off putting.
