And yet, it seems their board is quite keen to give Mowbray the long term. He ought to avoid such dogmatic pieces as they can only come back to bite you if you are wrong.

Terracing Theatre - Whatever happened to it?
andy steel replied to 26th of foot's topic in Rangers Chat
Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind... -
When Wabash goes for a meal and is disatisfied, he can be heard complaining that Murray is the one really doing the cooking. When Wabash catches the bus, he complains to the driver long and loud that it is Murray who is really behind the wheel. When Wabash asks for directions from a policeman, he complains indignantly that he wants real directions, not some Murray-fed propaganda. Etc etc etc.

The Rangers Manager - Post Takeover (Hypothetical)
andy steel replied to OnlyOneAmoruso's topic in Rangers Chat
That's a brilliant summary ^^ -
It is just some of them, I feel bound to say. But I just don't get the same level of convinced delusion from fans of other teams. I suspect it is down to the pandering the more outre of the them have received in the media.

Sounds like the BBC Ulster version of Strictly Come Dancing, in which eight celebrities are paired up with eight politicians, and over the course of several weeks compete to see who can become the most hardline. Genial host Bruce 'Melanchthon' Forsyth welcomes you with his catchphrase 'I am not Roman, Roman I am NOT!!'

Genuine question - Who is Rogne? I take it he plays for them, but I've never heard of him.

Ooh er, they won't like this down Torbett Towers way...

You know, I have been first in line to point out that for all his effort, Novo is very limited as a player. After this season though, I can forgive him absolutely anything. -
No Jews, blacks or Irish. Other than that, you're fine.

The Rangers Manager - Post Takeover (Hypothetical)

Mellor! I saw him for PNE twice this season - fat and inaccurate. A poor man's Sebo, if such a thing is possible. It'll take more than the carrot and onion in my wife's extremely delicious mince and potatoes to improve my memory, bmck. Drugs are bad, m'kay? -
I don't see why Danny can't be used as a figurehead. He's fallen out with everybody.

I haven't read all of this since I smell my dinner coming, but I would reject any talk of Walter Smith leaving unless he wants to. The man is in with the bricks in my small opinion - we'll be a long time looking for his like again. Btw - has Carragher been at Liverpool for over 10 years, someone said they hadn't produced any home grown players? I would also say they missed out on whatisname, leftback, went to Blackburn and I forget where he is now. Good player. -
Ibrox Suite Seating Tomorrow Night - Govan East Corner
andy steel replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I shall hang over the advertising boards behind the goal at half time and give you a wave. Funnily enough, in 25 years of going to Ibrox this will be the first time I have ever sat in the front row of any stand. -
I agree that OF firms are as bad as each other sometimes, but there's no comparison between some of these people and Rangers fans. Ill education is all too often on show from our fellow bears - such as the heroes in team colours standing in Union Street on Sunday, effin and blinding at the tops of their voices as a kids' club came out from the Warzone thingy shop next to them - I could happily ban these eejits from Ibrox from ever on the grounds of being neds. But there's a huge difference between that and the deluded fantasia posted above. Those posts reek of an inability to perceive reality, and the worry is that they carry it in into other aspects of their day-to-day lives.

Surprised to hear that, I should have thought the personality dysfunction on view would have been right up your street!

I don't consider myself stupid, but I have no idea what that OP is saying. And I'm amazed that such an incomprehensible post can generate five pages!

In regard to this, I only heard the last 20 minutes of the game and the commentators were lavish in their praise of Rangers - imagine my surprise on viewing the BBC highlights to discover we only had three shots in the game! What finishing!

I remember doing a thing for RM called 'division, schism and factionalism'. That must have been 4 years ago. Plus ca change!

Re: the tim complaining about lack of media coverage of our alleged mandatory cruelty. You'd have to listen to no radio stations and read no newspapers to come to that conclusion, thus invalidating he complaint. The bizarre, self-deluding world of some football fans.

Scheduling the CIS Cup semi final for Fir Park must rank as one of the most bizarre decisions even in the annals of the SFA/SFL/SPL.

Statement From Rangers Supporters in Respect of the Protest
andy steel replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Is there a danger that we're getting to a point where unless a fan receives the answers he wants, he dismisses any meeting or plan as window dressing, or a sham?
