Stone me, a footballer who's also a normal person. Well done, Stevie Naismith!

Leggat - RANGERS, PAUL STRETFORD AND GANGSTERS - Exclusive
andy steel replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I'd say his previous occupation was all the proof you'd need to know that ^. -
"It’s an unique place and that’s not a word that I throw around lightly." "I’ve never worked at Celtic Park, but I’d imagine it’s the same there." Unusual definition of unique, big man.

<cough>wouldn't happen in an independent Scotland<cough>

And in re. Rhegan's point, what obligation, other than good manners, is he referring to? Or is he just inventing rules as he goes along? A farce of a body...it seems to pick the wrong course of action every time. Of course there's a need to find out who's taking over a member club...but don't just ask nicely and hope for the best, get rules put in place!! That's your fucking job, you waste of space!!!

Two sides of the same coin - THE taxman cometh.
andy steel replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I love how our unpaid tax is always for nurses or schools, which as we know are receieving unprecendented funding in their times of enormous public spending....it's never 'Rangers tax, which could have paid for the subsidised bar in the House of Commons', or 'Rangers tax, which could have kept bought some missiles to blow up an Aghan village.' If nothing else, this whole farrago should finally end this 'establishment club' drivel the oppressed have been keeping themselves warm with. We're well and truly on our own, in the media, in the courts, in business. Not necessarily a bad thing: a) there's little to be gained by getting in to bed with these types anyway and b) an attitude of 'us against the world' may be immature but its invigorating. -
I can have it both ways if I want...they did nothing then punish us for Whyte, now they're trying to muddy the waters and dissuade investment of the future. It may turn out they scare off wrong 'uns...but it will not be for reasons of trust, it will be coz they're trying to shaft us. I hate everyone and everything about Scottish football except us. This is a paranoiac plane of consciousness, I know, but it's very real. To me, anyway.

DUFF AND PHELPS AND GANGSTERS? - Leggo's latest conspiracy theory
andy steel replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
FWIW, I've always thought he was shite. -
Does anyone know the exact 'paper trail' that led to the SFA's EBT investigation? From memory, it seems to me that Hugh Adam's interview in the press was enough to get it going...while interviews in the paper by AJ and others were deemed not enough action by this panel. How come it's good enough on one hand but not on the other?

More questions than answers....yet again
andy steel replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in Rangers Chat
It might well be 100% accurate, but I have severe difficulty in watching or listening to anything that the Pacific Quay CSC put out. They are completely dominated by producers who follow..ahem...'teams other than Rangers'...that their product is contaminated at source. -
Nothing wrong with the Euros, Pete. Happy to report my Panini album is already about a third complete!!* *actually my son's, or so he thinks.

Jesus, man, what's happened to Chic?

You are filled with more optimism than me, Foggy! If we get through this takeover still having a team to follow I'll be happy enough...next season can wait until August.

Rumour - Straight £8.5m Sale of club No PB status
andy steel replied to Stefanovitch's topic in Rangers Chat
I know this is inappropriate - but I feel kinda like those English girls who were passed around those blokes and got fucked at every turn. And if I complain, the authorities tell me it's my own fault. Only difference is being a Bear means I'll never lose my self esteem. -

SFA dossier reveals how David Murray was aware of Craig Whyte's record

Oh dear. It seems I will have to pm theFish and apologise for not getting my heid oot the sand all these years, altho at least his bumboy Bain emerges with a scrap of honour intact. -
Highly impressive. They don't sound like the types to stroll off admitting defeat; I hope they get the club. But relying on Euro games is a bit worrying; can't see us getting much revenue from that source in the foreseeable.

An aside: quick troll on Sheffield U forums reveals BBC are hated everywhere, equally: "They brought in a sports psychologist who was fair to be honest but then, Walker and Foster spent 20 minutes on and off banging on about how good Stevenage are at promotion, how bad United are in the play offs and how we will Struggle for goals. How it's hard for a team finishing clear third to get their heads back up and how we've lost form at the worst possible time and how if we did get to the final we’ve never won or even scored a goal. Then they played a selection of interviews from ‘Blades’ fans all but one totally negative and the little git Foster said ‘let's play some highlights to cheer up these Blades fans’ and they played the Burnley goal against us in our last POF. Walker then ended his stint by saying the ‘we don’t want to focus on the negatives’ have done nothing else, and Foster mumbled something about of course we are totally unbiased and of course they wanted United to go up as well as the pork. WTF is that all about? A phone-in about rape on the eve of a vital game criticising the club and now this, they don’t even try to hide it anymore. And no more talk please about Walker being a Blade. I’ve seen him at the Lane with his kid, but I think he’s as much a ‘genuine’ Blade as dopey Brian. Let’s not forget that he is the chief sports editor and has more clout than anybody in the Radio Pig sports team but I'm hard pushed to think of him doing us any favours, this season in particular." Good to know it's not just Glasgow, or 'only in Scotland' as timothy would have the world believe.

Hope proactive sports have a lot of clout with their partners in the consortium, coz that lot don't sound like heavy hitters in the financial sense.

PS: calming down now. Just lost three games in a row on FM and it all got too much.

Soren Lerby rings a bell...did he used to be a player or a rally driver? Soren Lerboo, that's how you say it.

Hate to argue with the site owner...but it's not fascinating, it's shitty, petty, childish shite. The day we finally get a grown up owner who lives in the real world, away from these fucking financial lunatics with their seperate rules and morality, the better. If someone wants the club, what's so hard about saying so and going for it?
