  1. Someone called Alison Robbie tweeted this, re.The Spence Spat: Alison Robbie ‏@AlisonRobbie I will never understand why people think it's ok abuse people on here. Not me this time, just read tweets to a fellow journo. Could someone who uses twitter do me the enormous favour of posting this reply? "Alison Robbie is right! If Leveson shows us anything, it's that journos' would never resort to this sort of thing!!!" Mucho gracias.
  2. Most supporters support the Old Firm. I wouldn't care to be this chap, he sounds a like the worst kind of diddy fan - narcissistic, delusional and convinced the ills of his club are the OF's fault, rather than the apathy of the people of Motherwell.
  3. Except the SFL have said that if we join them, it's D3 or not at all. Which is fair enough.
  4. I think a lot of people have this idea that, as they approach their second half of life, things will ease down, relax a bit, they can take a day's drive down to Largs or whatever. It certainly hasn't happened to me; money and family worries seem to get worse rather than better, and uncertainties increase instead of decreasing. At least I don't have to try to maintain dignity with the pressure of several million other peoples' hopes and fears on my shoulders. Ally, I wish you all the very best. If things don't work out I thank you for trying. SuperAlly forever!
  5. I resent that! I've been whining about him for a good few weeks, now. No-one has been more whiny, in fact.
  6. Yes. See post #2.
  7. Everything that's wrong with the coverage of fitba in one piece. I'm really sick of being stereotyped as a neanderthal by idiots.
  8. Had you heard his on air screaming about everything Rangers over the last few months, Danny, you would not be wondering this. His pain at the thought of us coming out of our agony in a few years under Smith's consortium was hilarious. I actually think he will be the first ever person to suffer a fatal heart attack brought on by hatred of Rangers FC. That's some sort of immortality, I guess.
  9. He's an over-excitable wee walloper. Why Bears gave him the time of day against St Johnstone is beyond me. Only yesterday he was frothing at the mic, shrieking for Bears to question of Walter: WHY NOW?????????????? The idea of taking advice from the likes of him, well really.
  10. That's quite something, and goodness me it was needed. Thanks to Lee!
  11. You make many good points in your post but it's very difficult to strike a balance between accepting blame/taking medicine and tolerating blatant hate filled attacks on the club for no reason other than 'cuz it's ra huns'. Defiance can appear wilful refusal to accept the position - Tom English, whom I quite like, repeatedly confuses a refusal to take a kicking from hypocrites as lack of humility - while actual humility can appear excessively self-flagellent.
  12. This is spot on - without showing Rangers any favour, he's reported on some behind the scenes stuff we otherwise wouldn't have known, and hasn't resorted to childish name calling which fans of all clubs are well used to.
  13. If this is accurate then it explains why a quick sale is in the best interests of both Rangers and Mr Green.
  14. Heard this earlier on in the car. Apparently they're fed up with lack of leadership (!) and the anarchy which currently prevails (again, !). The plan is to drive it thru before the start of the season (ezclamation marks fail me). Why they'd want to muddy the waters for potential investors in this way (that is, making an already chaotic situation even worse) baffles me. The only admittedly paranoid explanation I can think of is that, with us more or less certs to voted out the SPL, Lawwell fears the loss of the OF veto, and is getting plans in early to secure the best outcome. Certainly I don't believe Rhegan would do anything without his boss telling him to.
  15. I'd be sorely reluctant to buy the Record if I was a fan of any team other than Rangers; their crawling to the prospective new owners is beyond the other side of blatant.
  16. Standard BBC Scotland one, I guess - you're a tic man? Welcome aboard!
  17. Can't really answer that without knowing what level of humiliation the wee diddy clubs will look to impose on us. Broadly speaking I want D3 but not coz the minor counties reject us, coz it seems the right thing to do.
  18. RST lackey.
  19. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00rtbk8/episodes/player Hopefully this should take you to 'Mark Steel's in Town', in which the 2nd most important socialist in Britain called Steel goes to Berwick. Not only is it damn funny, there's a superb anecdote about Jock Wallace part way in. Well worth a listen to lighten your mood a little. I think the Jock Wallace bit is about 13 minutes in.
  20. <shrug> If that's supposed to scare me, it hasn't worked.
  21. There's more inconsistency here. When we were fined, deducted points, placed under a player embargo, and had former and serving board members slandered and banned, there was absolutely NO-ONE at Rangers who could have been held accountable. I don't mean anyone who should have been blamed...I mean there was literally NO-ONE there who could take the stand. Both the SFA and the SPL were quick (indeed, to the point of illegality) to act despite the actual ownership being muddled. Now, suddenly, since ownership is under question, all must be put in abeyance? A fellow poster said a while ago that the non-paranoid part of them died some years ago. I feel the same, except there's no need to worry about being paranoid. They really are all out to get us. Have fun - cause when the chance comes I will put the boot into these clubs every chance I get. So how come, all of a sudden, the fact that we don't know who stands responsible is preventing action?
  22. Enough with the bootlicking, that's what I think! Couldn't log in here this morning and read a similar thread on RM. I don't need anyone speaking for me so no thanks. But apart from that, first time he says anything vaguely opinionated Chris will be in the same boat as David Edgar, Mark Dingwall, Andy Kerr et etc etc...I would hope he does not put himself in such an invidious position.
  23. Yet another thread with you two. Ever thought of using an 'ignore' function? cause while you plainly don't like or agree with each other, yous are boring the shite out of me. Still, free speech and all that I suppose. Not my website, either. I don't have to log in.
  24. Looks more like he's stepped out of Thunderbirds, to be honest. I suppose we could do with some Brains about the place.
