To all those travelling supporters....come on! get the finger out! how the fuck are we going to win a fair play award if you dont start rioting outside grounds and having the largest number of arrests at a single game in many a year, rioting inside airports, getting planes diverted and running onto the field to attack players...i mean at this rate if we get to the final and lose, we wont even be booing the eventual winners... ...must do better...!!!

Barry Ferguson did have a poor game last night by his standards but i dont think it justifies dropping him....it was an extremely difficult game for him to exert any kind of influence with Diego basically running the show and Bremen obviously aware of how to keep Barry out of the game.... IMO, he's a good captain and one that can inspire those around him and for the games coming up, starting with sunday's final...we're going to need that.

Carlos Cuellar deserves a shout... but yeah, Alan McGregor was truly outstanding!!!

I have to be honest and say I have next to no sympathy for Gretna. A team with no real fanbase to talk of and who bought their way up through the leagues. I feel that when football becomes the playthings of wealthy, vainglorious people the beauty of the game suffers. Ironically, i say this as a fan of Chelsea but I remember that clubs dark days in the early 80's and Chelsea do have a good fanbase. As far as Gretna and the SPL are concerned, surely a lesson has to be learned here and this sort of thing not allowed to happen again...some sort of insurance/ guarantees given at the start of a season to ensure at least survival throughout the season. It will be interesting to see what the SPL does with this whole mess. IMO, if gretna folds....3-0 wins for every club yet to play them.

A massive psychological blow for timmy...in the pub last night, there was a few of them looking like there had been a death in the family...they are far too reliant on mctraitor and japamoto...broon and sno are next to no use...but its all about us now, we have put the foundations of a great season in place and hopefully a few more successes await for us....all while timmy implodes and looks to hang WGS from a kerrydale st lamppost...hehe!
