Rangers expects every man to do his duty.... WATP
-
the result is king! play him

This whole situation is a farce....are we going to have 3 OF games in the space of 6 weeks in march and april? looks like it...
-
It's been poor tho' yes we're getting results but are we supposed to be happy at watching our team surrender as much possession as they did on saturday?
-
unbelievable!! yet another example of the scrutiny we fans are under...this shit just goes on and on. i dont want to make comparisons with the fuckwits across the city but the match commander at Ibrox didnt seem to have a problem with their banner depicting the Rangers support/ players as sub evolutionary... Keep the faith brothers and sisters We Are The People

Well done man utd for a fitting tribute....and well done city for beating them

Striker Boyd standing at crossroads in Rangers career
mainstandbear replied to Jon's topic in Rangers Chat
Boyd plays, scores but we are generally lethargic going forward...not Boyd's fault tho' IMO but we seemed happy to hit long balls up to mcculloch while falkirk passed the ball about on saturday...then Naismith comes on Boyd goes off and all of a sudden we have a bit of variety of play going forward... therein lies the Boyd dilemma BTW i thought Naismith was superb again on saturday...has wee off days here and there but this bear enjoys watching him -
2 brilliant tackles that could easily have resulted in goals and dropped points. However, i felt his distribution was poor at times and seemed content just to hoof the baw up the park.

Striker Boyd standing at crossroads in Rangers career
mainstandbear replied to Jon's topic in Rangers Chat
it is a good article...i think boyd's body language when he scores is a huge indicator of his frustrations...the last goal i can remember him scoring and being delighted was against the tatty munchers last season...but he does give a GIRUY gesture when he scores now...i tend to compare Boyd's sitch to when mccoist was at ibrox and souness was manager and he couldnt get a game but hung around because he was determined to make it at Rangers. I think he should start on Wednesday as i think he'd score....just my tuppence worth -
agreed ian...i remember giving him pelters before he scored against stuttgart then applauding him as he went off..but he's threatening to become AN ENIGMA... maybe he should just wear a ? on his back as we wonder which charlie adam was showing up today...
-
What is his problem with the RST? It seems he cant let a week go by without trying to stick the boot in...sad, twisted person that he is. And for another example of the media spinning the truth...check p16 in the sun today...where chris sweeney writes ' celtic keeper arthur boruc made the sign of the cross in front of Rangers fans at Ibrox in 2006. Strathclyde Police even submitted a report to the Procurator Fiscal and Boruc was given a police caution ' why let the truth get in the way of a 'good' story...

i think Butcher will do a good job...seems to know the scottish footballing mentality and IMO is a good motivator.... a good contrast with Burley's more cerebral approach to the game
-
Beckham cant fuck about in the american 'soccer' league and hob nob with the hollywood set and just expect to walk into the england squad....capello's got a world cup to win....perish the thought

Distinctly underwhelming transfer activity. i haven't seen Davis play so i cant comment but he seems to be delighted to be here so hopefully, he'll run that extra yard for us. Apart from that, we do have a big squad and bought in bulk in the summer so we should have enough cover. As far as the tinks go...i see they have bought forwards apart from hinkel who is injured already.....bodes well for his shellik career...their midfield? robson and broon? robson and donati? and their new striker battered his head aff a ceiling at fir park which says a lot for his spacial awareness... so this bear is still confident we can see off the mhanky mob's challenge. WATP

Is nobody trying to sign any of the brendans players? Nobody wants mcgeady? what about the mystery bidder for broon? not interested now? I couldn't care less who they sign because the feel-good factor has left CP...they want rid of the manager and most of them think Rangers will win the league...takes more than a man city reject and some unknown japanese lad to change that...unless they beat barcelona...could they? naaaaah!
-
We could still get around that price for him in the summer and Hutton would ( hopefully ) have a champions medal
-
Man u Arsenal...nice one! should be good i fancy southampton, wolves, Sheff U, liverpool, man u, portsmouth, west brom and huddersfield.... .........kidding! chelsea
-
Is that the case tho...or is it that Spurs just arent taking no for an answer. WS seemed happy for him to stay. what is annoying tho' is we havent gave ourselves much time to bring in other players.
-
I'd be sorry to see Hutton go but this story just wont go away...it just worries me what effect this has on the team as we've really benefitted from Huttons pace and control on the right wing this season.
-
I dont believe him funnily enough....I'd like to see Bent at Ibrox. BTW what this 'A' sign they all seem to be doing down south when they score all about? embdy no?
-
always looking for conspiracies... quite sad really:rolleyes:
-
I think WS is a better manager now having experienced the EPL and international football...which is all good for us. i also think that McCoist and McDowall are a big part in the new Rangers as well....perhaps to take over when WS has done another 3 - 4 years as manager...but all in all, we are back where we belong...top of the league.
