Have to agree with you Colshy.... but England look no better than the Germans right now. Can't believe what you say about Lahm though - looks the most accomplished left back in the WC so far IMO. Defensively they haven't been tested yet and have still given up 2 goals to a very poor Costa Rica. The midfield isn't strong enough and won't contain the better teams and up front they don't have enough quality to go all the way. I think England have a great chance against either Germany OR Ecuador/Costa Rica - that is one of the weakest groups in the tournament.

The difference between us and Barca though mac is that Barca don't have a sponsor whereas we have a sponsor who SHOULD be pissed off at tops being manufactured without their names on it. Just think of all the money Barca have let slip through their bank accounts by not having a sponsor for over 100 years (admittedly sponsorship is a relatively new phenomenon).

It isn't always about getting a trade that way though Colsh - if the kids get first team experience then it may be to their benefit if they go to a coach that Rangers trust with their younger players. Not saying it will be like this but it isn't always about getting one-for-one

Cammy, I just took delivery of my France away top yesterday and it is QUALITY !! I got it through the gamebookers free shirt giveaway. The logo and the WC "star" (ala Gers 5 stars) above the crest is embroidered in gold stitching and the style is quality. The fabric is nice and breathable as well (unlike last season's Gers away top - played 5's in it yesterday and it was stifling - might have something to do with playing in 80 degree heat indoors in 80% humidity - ohhh, and the excess weight being carried). I say the France away top - although the German away top is nice as well.
