I am not too fussed to be honest Gribz. I still think JFH can, and will, do the business at Celtic but whilst we are signing youngsters for the future they are signing older players who are nearing the end of their careers. Even if we lose the league this coming season we will have blooded a few youngsters who have many years in front of them whilst THEY will be re-building again. I think we are doing it the right way whilst they are doing it the lazy way..... what THEY are doing reminds me very much of our Capucho, Ostenstad pre-season (albeit the players they are getting are slightly better). Which would you prefer ? I prefer PLG's way of bringing in youngsters that have the hunger and desire to succeed, not players that have done it and want the pension.

But Gribz, if he stays where is his natural position ? Behind the strikers playing in behind them and the midfield ? That is Buffel's best position and there is NO QUESTION who I would prefer in THAT position ! If we got 500k for Namouchi Gers should take it.

I think we are, or should be, looking at 2 seperate incidents Gav. 1. Re the free-kick, you are right - he definitely did not cheat so the free-kick was a good decision by the ref for the body-check and France deserved their goal from the resultant free-kick. 2. The 2nd incident is the ACTION (or should that be play-action) of Henry when he was checked by Puyol. Puyol checked him in the chest but Henry went down clutching his face. 1=not cheating 2= definite cheating Doesn't matter too much now though - France are through and it will be intriguing to see what they have in store for Brazil - I can't see them getting a repeat of the '98 final though

I would normally agree with you geo - not sure that it is an under-achievement when they went out to France though (although it has to be admitted that France are a poor reflection of their former selves). I do think that Spain should have been looking to make the final though - pretty unfortunate they didn't go through because they have played some of the most attractive football of the tournament.

I don't deny it was a free kick geo - but Henry was clutching his face, as you say, to get Puyol sent off - and I HATE seeing that ! And ZZ makes it 3 !!!!!!!!!!!

Henry just went down in my estimation with that dive - Puyol was NOWHERE near his face and he went down as if he had taken a bullet in the head. And from the resultant free-kick Vieira looks like he seals it for France

I think Lahm is the obvious one Colsh - the rest for me would be a coin flip and Riquelme/Ballack - I actually think I could be convinced to change my mind. Won't be changing my mind on Hargreaves though
