  1. I think England will win it too - they can't lose on penalties ALL the time. what a joke that one of these 2 teams will be considered one of the 4 best teams in the world - they were BOTH pish !
  2. Yep, even with an extra man Portugal dont look like scoring - England have more potency than Portugal. This is headed to penalties
  3. Rooney is too hot-headed and opponents can wind him up easy enough to get him sent-off - not saying that is what happened though. I agree, I can't see Portugal scoring even with the man advantage. Yet another crap England game though - boring. They won't care though as long as they go through - penalties or not...
  4. Ronaldo is a diving, cheating little PRICK !!!!
  5. Geo, where are you - or is it MY turn to speak to myself ?
  6. That Portugal player must have sore nuts after Roooney just stood on him.... looked accidental though. Pushing Ronaldo was a bit stupid though - Ronaldo should never have been involved though !
  7. I still think England will sneak it 1-0 - bad miss just there from Lampard.

Agreed that he hasn't excelled but that is very difficult to do when played in a position you aren't familiar with. He has been injured a bit but that doesn't accouunt for 50+ games - but when you include when he has been played out of position it probably accounts for a majority of the games he has featured in. I think it is all a moot point though because we have Buffel and Sionko that can play in Namouchi's preferred position.... and also Elmander if he signs. Namouchi becomes a player that simply isn't required and it would be best for both club and player if he moved on as he isn't likely to get a game.
  9. Remember that song well. Can't remember the video too well but were they not dressed like rappers ?
  10. Why the smiley Gav ? Not quite..... but lost 500 total - fvcking Argie barstewards !
  11. To be fair Danny.. the Italians did defend well but they also got fortunate a couple of times. Might have been a different story if Ukraine had of had a go from the outset ! Go on Luca Toni though - have him in my dream team !

  13. Can't believe Argentina are 2/1 to beat Germany today. I must be missing something because even though it will be a close game those are great odds !
  14. I will be home but down in Ayrshire - might have to speak to me maw to see if she minds seing me for the first time this year and me heading off to Dundee..... sounds like a plan though

A fair crack of the whip doesn't JUST mean playing games though - being stuck in a position that isn't your preferred position or one that doesn't suit you is hardly being given a fair crack of the whip. He was being asked to play out of position constantly and he did so as he wanted to play. We could complain at his lack of versatility as he was mince in the position he played - but I don't think that getting games in a position you are uncomfortable with means you get a fair crack. I am not sticking up for Namouchi though - he HAS been awful.... but because he wasn't playing in his preferred position (and as I said before, we have, in my opinion, players who are better in Namouchi's preferred position, Buffel for one being the obvious choice - and I am sure Sionko will prove himself the same).

  17. From Sportinglife.com Rangers manager Paul Le Guen has dismissed speculation he is trying to bring French World Cup midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo to Ibrox. Reports from France on Wednesday suggested Le Guen was keen to be reunited with the 32-year-old midfielder after working with Dhorasoo for two years at Lyon. However, Le Guen has told Rangers World Dhorasoo, who is currently with Paris Saint-Germain after spending season 2004/05 with AC Milan, is not on his radar.

With all these guys that can play behind the strikers we will be playing... 4 at the back 3 in midfield 3 behind the striker 0 strikers  LOL
  20. Newsnow (fansfc) is reporting that JFH is a target for BOTH Old Firm clubs. If we get him he is a GREAT player. If THEY get him he is an ageing, OAP useless, fat eddie murphy..... LOL
  21. If THAT is Del's back garden I have a question..... is it a mansion you stay in Del because that garden looks freaking HUGE !!!!!!!!!!
  22. I do agree Gribz.... I like JFH as a player - but like Dhorassoo being touted with us, I wouldn't want a 33 or 34 yr old to join us unless the wages were LOW (and I am sure JFH's wages won't be low). JFH is no diddy and will score a few goals up here this coming season. He obviously is no long term answer though - they would have been better keeping Hartson (he would have scored as many goals) as he is a couple years younger
