You have me wrong Fraser..... Roman = President Mijatovic = Director of football/sport Capello = potential manager

St Etienne are rumoured to be looking at bringing Moroccan international Jaouad Zairi to the club. Les Verts have money available to spend in the summer following the sale of Didier Zokora to Tottenham Hotspur and the club's number one target is thought to be a striker, with Sochaux's Zairi high on their list of possible recruits. The 24-year-old is likely to leave Stade Bonal in the summer, with Rangers and Olympiakos also interested, and although favouring a switch abroad, Zairi admits he could be swayed by St Etienne's proposal. "I won't close the door. I would favour a move abroad, but if a club like St Etienne offer me a regular starting place, that would be nice," he said. According to But!, St Etienne could also be about to launch an audacious bid to lure Portsmouth's Tresor Lomana Lua Lua to the club. However, Pompey manager Harry Redknapp will be keen to keep one of the players pivotal in helping the club avoid relegation to The Championship last term and would most likely turn down the advances of the French club.

If that is his girlfriend beside him he seems to be doing pretty well for himself !
-
Mike, Not sure about the 34 but PLG said he wanted a squad of 23/24

http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/hi/sport/6027296.html Looks like the Emander deal may very well come off with talks "advancing well". Cammy may indeed be right.

Bigmac, Yeah, Roman got made PRESIDENT - Mijatovic got made director of football (or sport). I just can't see how this ISN'T tapping up though.
-
Predrag Mijatovic has been made director of sport at Real Madrid.... Now, he says that the club have been told by Arjen Robben, Cesc Fabregas and Kaka that they are all interested in joining Real but that Real must now speak to theri respected clubs. Am I missing something here or is this not "tapping up" of players ? They are ALL under contract so Real have no rights to contact them about possible moves until speaking to their clubs first. All the candidates made these noises about getting certain players in and certain players wanted to come etc etc. Just what am I missing ?
-
Also depends on if you think PLG will be given the proceeds to spend.... I have my doubts !!
-
But to be fair to Klos he never made as many appearances as Jeffers
-
I looked on the official site the other day and I am sure that general public sales are 22 quid a ticket while the season ticket holders have to pay 17 quid. You might want to phone and make sure br1ndy

Yeah, "Jim Baxter Bridge" was winning by a landslide so they had to pull it out of the options.
-
Evening times is running this story (at least the online version is). Says that Nice (I think) are favourites to land him but that Gers may need to pay off some of his contract.

One for you Colsh. http://www.ihateronaldo.com/#emailpics

WHAT ?!?!?! They are crazy !!!

The only decision that can be considered strange Gav is his decision to sign Jeffers. The selling of Bellamy isn't strange.... reason being that it was in his contract that if Blackburn received an offer of 6 mill or more they had to accept it and let Bellamy speak to the other club - and Bellamy being a Liverpool fan was always going to move.
-
Apparently one of the Real presidential candidates has said he will sign him. When you see what some players are being sold for I think they will double their money - I think if Fergie gets an offer for 20 mill+ he should snap their hands off. What Ferge has to consider is if Ronaldo can handle the abuse he will take - I think he is too much of a nancy boy to take it.
-
12.24 mill quid they paid Jon - should be able to double it !
-
I think Fergie should snatch Real's money as quick as he can. Undoubtedly a great talent but if you can't be a team player then you are a luxury that teams usually can't afford. Should be good money they get so they should be able to get a more than able replacement.
-
Don't get me wrong Colsh, I don't like what he did. Would need to watch the replay again but Rooney MIGHT have simply interpreted Ronaldo as trying to get him sent off (as many would do, I did) and that caused the push. But, it is just as plausible that Ronaldo was just complaining about his team mate getting his gonads ripped to pieces. Thing is, either way, Ronaldo had no right to be in the thick of that - but Rooney, if he did it deliberately (initially I thought he didn't) then he deserved to go. I think Ronaldo will move on from Man U - I think for HIS sake AND the team's - he will be the most hated player in England next season - Fergie should take the 20 mill he will get for him otherwise he could have an unhappy player on his hands
-
lol Pete. I see Gerrard is having a go at Ronaldo as well - seems Ronaldo isn't too well liked. There is contention as to whether he tried to get Rooney sent off though - he says he just asked the ref if he saw the challenge. I haven't seen the replays properly yet but if Rooney deliverately stood on Carvalho then Ronaldo has nothing to do with it, Rooney deserves to go (but I am not saying this is the case as I haven't seen those relays yet !).

The humidity is the big thing Pete. We have 80 degree heat here but 100% humidity - have been in Vegas in 110 degree heat but low humidity and it didn't feel nearly as bad as it does here. Air conditioning is standard and you won't notice the heat as much as you think. That said..... France is beautiful - if I could speak the language I would happily live in Paris !!
-
Lol, so I presume you made your decision Pete ? Good for you.

Stewarty is wrong Pete (according to the official site anyway), Namouchi wasn't in the team for the Hamilton game. I think he is still on holiday.
