As for your bet Colsh, I still think Chelsea will win the league so there is no way I am taking your bet on that, it needs to be something that gives us both a chance of winning..... That is an inaccurate statement - Le Guen was not contracted to Lyon when he agreed to take over the reigns at Ibrox - he was contracted to Canal + and his Lyon contract had expired/been terminated (by PLG) at the end of the PREVIOUS season. Most definitely agree Gribz - add to that the way the Italian clubs play i.e. they like their defenders to play the ball out to feet and not the obligatory hoof up the park... then I think Boumsong will be very well suited to Serie A

I now doubt the Rae move to Sunderland - Niall Quinn wanted him but with Niall about to step down as manager (one of the shortest managerial careers ever !!) the new guy will have his own thoughts on players. As for the rest I wouldn't be sad to see any of them go - but we need them out ASAP to allow us time to bring in suitable replacements, otherwise our squad will be threadbare and if we hit injuries and suspensions (inevitable) then we will struggle.

Hemdani was probably our best player on Saturday - and against Dundee Utd he was also one of our better performers. I think that he will have a lot of detractors because he quietly and effectively goes about his business. If Clement and Hemdani continue to perform as they are Fergie will have a tough time getting back in (if PLG sticks to his "if you perform well you are in the team" rule)
