  1. On the whole, agreed. At this early stage though I would already get rid of Sionko, better options out there (IF we can recoup some of the transfer fee). He hasn't convinced me other than his 1st 2 games.
  2. I can't remember my man. I am still upset Colshy got banned before he could pay me the 100 he owed me We did have a bet on, wasn't for a lot, 25 quid or something - and I have NO IDEA what for - I think I took Chelsea to win the league and you took Man U - anyone else and bet is void ???????
  3. I stand corrected. Sooooo, Rock Steady should be paying the fine then, useless bams !
  4. Even so Gribz, can we afford to give him games to gain match practice, fitness, sharpness and interest ? We are 12 behing the Tims and still behind Hearts - we can't afford ANY passengers and Klos would be a high risk of being a passenger. To add to that.... would his team-mates have confidence in him if they knew he couldn't give a shit about a game's outcome as he winds himself down into retirement ? Sorry, 18 months ago I would be screaming for Klos to play - but McGregor DESERVES to be #1 on form right now - and who knows, given a run of games, the right coaching, further confidence - the guy could turn into our next Stefan Klos. Maybe Rangers should hire Klos as a keeping coach, or Goram ?
  5. Unfortunately crowd behaviour is Rangers responsibility when games are played at Ibrox, Rangers will be fined for a fan encroaching the field of play. IMO the Police and stewarding company should be asked to pay the fine as they are paid to prevent these occurrences. But we will be fined as the fans inside our ground are ultimately our responsibility
  6. Have to say I agree with calscot. I would be more confident in all the teams you backed AGAINST !

    good game

I wasn't saying you said anything wrong my man, just that this was PLG's intention (speak English) from the get-go ! I also think that he is also starting to see just how passionate the supporters are for their club. And when his English is much improved his team talks will be a fair bit easier and, hopefully, more rousing too.

    good game

2 things Pete. 1. When PLG arrived he told the squad that even though there were many players that spoke French they played in the Scottish League and, as such, they would be required to converse in English during training and games. I believe he said this to prevent the "clique" type atmosphere that, to an extent, was DA's downfall. 2. Clement I believe will very much be a star. Still a young guy I wish we had another 10 22 yr olds with his quality. I was at the Dundee Utd 2-2 game and he bossed the game throughout. I think that with Clement doing the defensive midfield duties it will allow Barry Ferguson to get further forward and be more of a creative force, which I feel is where he is best. In other words I think that Clement will bring the best out of Fergie, and, vice versa too I think.
  18. I hate having to try working probabilities but with that Partizan v Livorno game finishing in a draw - if we do win tonight then we must almost be assured of making the latter stages.
  19. I agree buba (shock, horror). I think our style of play is suited more to a European game than domestic. So will we be looking forward to finishing 8th in the SPL and winning the UEFA ?
  20. She wouldn't have much to beat when you look at who won it last year.....
  21. The only counter to the statement that he is making the right noises and realising what it's all about to play for Rangers is that saying and doing are 2 very different things (this is NOT aimed at Stevie Smith who I think has been one of our better, more consistent performers this season). But we have heard many players who "make the right noises" when they give an interview but rarely produce the goods where it counts on the pitch. But hopefully they are realising that at a club like Rangers you can't freewheel !
  22. Thanks for the offer Gribz.... but I think I will decline How's things, still on New year holidays ?
  23. Aye, as boyharley says...... Gribz, you are a muppet Gary Caldwell plays for Celtic, Stephen is his brother
  24. And with Copenhagen beating Man U tonight Man U need to win the next game (against the Tims) to be certain of qualification - those results tonight could not have been worse for Celtic. I would fancy Man U to beat Celtic any day of the week (despite Man U getting beat tonight) and if that happens I think Copenhagen have just proven themselves to be a difficult team to beat at home. I would think that after the next set of games Celtic will be sitting in 3rd place (after a loss to Man U and the other game ends in a victory to one team) which means they will have to go to Denmark and win to have any hope of qualifying. This group is now shaping up nicely to be exciting till the end. Celtic could be in the last 16 of the CL, drop into the UEFA or be out of Europe completely. Now it gets interesting and we can see how well they handle the pressure.......
  25. Aye but "Whosthedado" nailed the score dead on before ye
