I get the games live on the internet through the official site, not Rangers TV. Hit and miss with the reception though - yesterday seemed ok but it would still freeze now and then (and I am sure that my workplace has plenty of bandwidth to cover) and also would get a horrible shadow. I buy the games on a per-game basis Pete, cost is US$9.50 per game, you can get a 4 game package for $36 and you can get the season for $275 (I think it is $275) - I might even get the season package next year.

Sadly though it is looking ever more likely Prso will be gone at the end of the season so not much of a future for them together in the team.

Thought so - but in order to get a pay-off he needs to be fired otherwise he leaves of his own volition and is not entitled to a pay-off. I don't know though - very under-handed thing to do and he is playing a huge gamble if this is what he is angling for - with his own reputation as much as anything else too.

Fair enough Ally - but on what do we base our grounds of opinion ? On the miniscule piece of non-descript information we have received ? For me that isn't enough to form an opinion as to who is right or wrong (if anyone). Everyone is entitled to their opinion as long as respectful which most are being.

So what you are saying then is that we also shouldn't be taking sides in this yet as we are still speculating ? At this point we should all have an open mind about what is going on - but surely we shouldn't already be pro, or anti, either person ?

It was quite obvious that the 2 didn't see eye to eye - the whole "captain isn't important" debacle where they disagreed was almost proof in point - PLG says he spoke to Ferguson about it, Ferguson said he didn't - someone was lying - and it may have been the catalyst for what we have now seen.

If Fergie is being shown the door then DM will surely realise that this calibre of player will not appease the fans as a replacement for Fergie - but at the end of the day will he provide PLG with the funds to get someone of similar stature in ?

Pete was saying earlier that Thomson has been stripped of the Hibs captaincy - not sure if true though. Ferguson is better than both IMO - but if we have to move on, we move on !

Still doesn't say a whole lot more - looks to me (speculating) that tho whole cliques rumour could be the issue here - could it be Barry was drivinga wedge between the Scottish players and everyone else ? Who knows - but if DM leaves that as the only explanation we get then PLG will get a whole lot more abuse because that explanation is very non-descript. Without a proper explanation PLG's position could become untenable.

You of course are right - but ultimately the manager should be managing his squad and in this instance that is what he is attempting to do - whether he is right or wrong is another matter. I could easily be wrong but I reckon the manager wins this issue all the way.

EXACTLY ! All the "Please Leave Govan" and "Fergie must stay, PLG must go" banners are quite sickening actually when none of us know what has gone on. If we knew what had happened and still felt Barry has been mis-treated then sure have a ball with the banners - but until then we have NO IDEA who is the victim in all this.

There is NO WAY you will get PLG and Ferguson at the same table as things stand right now. IMO what you will see is a joint press conference from DM and PLG and perhaps DM and BF - but not all 3 together

I don't say I would agree one way or the other what DM's decision is. However, it will be a bad sign if he keeps the player over the manager from the perspective of any future manager - the manager should be making management decisions and if DM were to get rid of PLG then he would be seen to be a meddler in team affairs. Not saying I think he should choose PLG over Ferguson or vice versa - will wait to see what is said from all camps first.

Premature poll in my opinion Ally - we need to know what happened although it does seem it has been something festering. But until then we should reserve judgement on both sides.

Not a whole lot more is known. PLG seems to be alluding to Ferguson being a divisive influence. We NEED a better response than that though !

If that IS the case then PLG is in the wrong. Ferguson won't be the first player to find himself in this position and losing out in a battle of wills to the manager.

But we need to know the FACTS - right now we are still working on speculation - are we not ? You are spot on about one thing - IF true - hopefully we get an insight into it soon as it will be the only question at the post-match interview.

Why ? because they don't get along ? I am confused as to why PLG is the arse if they simply don't get along - surely in that case it is both ?
