  1. Or imagine the effect on THEIR team morale if we pump them. I will try to focus on the positives.
  2. If that is the best midfield 3 they can put out then I would be very, very confident.

These ads for the Legends gin are quality
  4. Same as most mate - sometimes right and sometimes wrong. Reasonably well respected from what I can deduce
  5. That's not so Mack - you have to remember that it isnt just Bitton being outside that is the problem, he was at close quarters to all those players, which should result in them also having to self-isolate. He would have breached the 2 metre "rule" - which is different to "everybody outside will have to isolate"
  6. That would suck for Celtic, not so much us. They would lose McGregor (whilst already deprived of Forrest, Christie and now Bitton - plus possibly Edouard) - they would have literally no recognised midfielders, aside from maybe Rogic. We would only lose Jack and an argument could be made that he potentially wouldnt start the game for us anyway
  7. Might be a "come and get me" plea. And we dont know if Gerrard is asking the Board to sanction such a move. I would take him. Has the potential to be a game changer - other than wages there is little risk to this move - I havent read anywhere that he is a disruption to the dressing room so I dont see that being a major issue either.
  8. Oh for sure they will. When it happens Rangers MUST highlight the hypocrisy - Lennon saying that St Mirren should play despite having 3 keepers missing, there being an expectation that so long as you have 13 players you should play the game etc. Enough of the dignified silence should Celtic push postponement. And we know they will.
  9. Nir Bitton has now has tested positive for covid and misses the OF game..... how many more can we expect and a clamour for postponement between now and next weekend ? Soooooooo predictable
  10. No doubt the solution will be to call the league.... but only if Celtic are on top, either in absolute terms or points per game. As soon as that happens... league will be called...
  11. The problem, though, is at what point would you start to expel with no readmission, as you are advocating ? Does it need to be one perpetrator ? two ? three ? What if the club acted appropriately in all instances by firing and notifying the authorities ? If you look at the quantum of perpetrators and decide on the number being, say 3 (many would contend that one perp should be enough....) then we would also be looking at expusion. Should we be looking at expulsion when one of those perpetrators had committed the same offences at Hibs and they never informed us of his debauchery ? See, it is all very, very subjective and when it comes to something as drastic as expulsion then you have to be very careful what you wish for.
  12. To be fair to him he has done much better of late. Definitely seems to be a confidence player. He offers something a little "different" to Jones, so I can see why they went with him. Wouldnt have been overly bothered with either. More surprised that Defoe has been left out
  13. The St Mirren keepers did nothing wrong either but still had to play their game....
  14. Brattback was quite possibly worse than even Egil Ostenstad
  15. The problem with that is that we would have a league structure with about 3 teams in it. What has been reported is only the tip of the iceberg. It is riddled throughout pretty much all levels of the game in Scotland, and probably the rest of the UK too.
  16. Rangers also had Harry Dunn and John Chalmers - though John Chalmers never faced a court of law as he committed suicide (largely believed to be because of this allegation) - my younger cousin was at Rangers and thought John Chalmers was a great coach and was gutted about his suicide. Dunn I can't remember the full story but it still amazes me (I would say amuses if it weren't so serious) that Celtic fans try to point the finger at us about Neely given Neely was fired by Hibs and "disappeared" - a member of the Hibs board at that time subsequently admitted that Hibs fired him without any explanation because they didnt want to ruin the club's reputation as a feeder boys club to the main team.... it was this lack of transparency which resulted in him ending up at Rangers - when he did it again at Rangers fired him - whether they reported it to the Police or not is still debatable, though Rangers say they did. I was at my son's private training session at the weekend and, strangely enough, this came up in conversation with another parent.... this parent had actually been coached by Neely when he was younger and the stories he told of how they scared the kids into their bedrooms were absolutely appalling - no punishment would ever be too severe for these scumbags.
  17. Homegrown players such as Patterson can be added 24 hours before a game so he isnt really left out.
  18. They could do worse - he is still better than either Elneny or Xhaka, both of whom are pish
  19. Whilst this is true we all knew they would win the league anyway had it been played to a finish.
  20. Yep, thankfully we now have a squad that is far better equipped to cope with such events.
  21. He can still train alone on a treadmill. Not ideal for them but he shouldnt completely lose match fitness in 10 days.
  22. I think Christie missing the game is huge for them - much of their creativity comes from him. Forrest being out 6 weeks and you have to wonder where any of their creativity is going to come from.
  23. One other thing that hasnt been mentioned with respect to Wilshere, which I think we all should acknowledge..... if we didnt have Gerrard as manager would Wilshere even consider us ? We have had a few players now since Gerrard came in where you think "did we really sign him" - Defoe, Roofe, even Hagi. Gerrard commands respect even in management. Clearly we need him to win us silverware but WHEN that happens we could very much end up the dominant force in Scotland again with Celtic eyeing us enviously whilst they have Lennon snarling along..... "quietly terrified" indeed Graham Speirs...
  24. He would walk into their team. Far better player than any of their midfielders. I would much prefer Jack Wilshere at Rangers than Celtic. A risk ? Sure. But we wouldnt be able to get someone of that quality without there being risks present. On his day a sublime footballer.
  25. Well, according to Wilshere himself those injury stats are incorrect. May 31, 2020 to now is just over 4 months - Wilshere says he has been fully fit for 8 months.
