  1. I don't see how that would be the case these days when they have their pro youth academy in-house.
  2. And yet the media were all screaming on about "mental health" when Griffiths was "going through personal issues". Lets see how much the media make of the hypocrisy of him......
  3. And in true Leigh Griffiths fashion he celebrates by liking a picture of the the yahoos posted that was of Lafferty crying and the caption "the only way tonight could have been any better". True scumbag behaviour given Lafferty only just lost his sister last week. A club like no other indeed. Griffiths really is the scum of the earth
  4. He's starting to look much like the player we have been used to. Seems to be playing with a smile on his face again. Fingers crossed it contnues
  5. We have 4 of the top 5 ? And the only one not a Rangers player is Taylor, who now can't even get a game at Celtic because of "14 tackles" Laxalt.....
  6. You are being obtuse and bringing completely different debate into this. It was really about stats and the fact some people consider them to be pish whilst others take enjoyment (when we are top of positive stats board anyway) from them. Whether "its their job" or "they are paid handsomely to do so" is irrelevant. DMAA's point about management using them still stands - if they were "a load of pish" then the management team would pay no mind to them.
  7. There are plenty of games left - a couple of 2-0 losses to them turns around 8 of that GD superiority. Too early to talk GD..... so best we just keep hammering everyone
  8. But if we keep winning games after international breaks the way we have been, we will be saying that all season.... yes please
  9. Points on the board are better than games in hand. They SHOULD win their games in hand but so long as they HAVE to that is to our advantage. But, yes, I see it as being 3 clear, not 9
  10. This is correct - half time is not determined to be an interruption in play for the purposes of making substitutions.
  11. You would be surprised mate - even at 47 I reckon I am better than Maguire - might even be quicker too - he is so over-rated. Goldson most certainly isnt a significant drop off from Maguire - £3 mill for Goldson or £70 mill for Maguire - I know who I believe got the better deal there...
  12. TBF mate, I think I am a better player than Harry Maguire - he's absolute dugmeat.
  13. I think that Goldson is a great example of what we see as fans vs what the management team see each and every day. Many of our support wanted him dropped and yet he has been an ever-present. Gerrard & Co stuck with him when he was making mistakes and their loyalty to him is now being rewarded. That loyalty borne out of what they witness every day on the training pitch. Faith rewarded.
  14. The fewer coefficient points they have the harder the draw. I wanted them to make the group stages for one reason alone - they would have Sunday/Thursday/Sunday football just like us. Beyond that I hope they get pumped every game. if we take care of OUR business then we won’t be finishing second. But to take your point and reverse it.... what if WE WIN the league and they finish second and WE get into the Champions League ? Then it’s US who get the financial benefit and they will still have Champions League salaries and nowhere near the revenue. They could easily freefall. Not every glass needs to be half empty.....
  15. This has apparently been proven incorrect by Sparta Prague themselves on Twitter
  16. And apparently it was Sparta Prague reserves as they had a bunch of players out with covid
  17. I'm not denying it was a quality pass for the goal, I just feel that our two CB's weren't on the same page and could have handled it better
  18. Of course it is disappointing being 3-1 up against 10 men. But looking at the bigger picture we acquitted ourselves very well against one of the favourites to win the whole thing. That shouldnt be lost. I would rather have a defensive wake up call tonight - where it cost us very little as we are still on course the KO stages, than on Sunday against Hamilton.
  19. He dropped a couple of yards deeper than Goldson and could have held his line. That said, Goldson could also have squeezed closer and blocked the run as they only had the one player there.
  20. The Balogun sub made perfect sense to me. By that point Killie had lumped Broadfoot up front so Balogun provided an additional aerial presence to defend against the long, lumped ball !
