it definitely won't be Benitez : a) he was on £12 million a year in China b) he would be wanted in England by more than one EPL team who could outpay them c) he has already said he is taking a rest from the game for a wee while
-
He is odds on because slavering Tims got caught, again, in an Operation Tango and backed it to the hilt. A Bear did up a letter on Celtic letterhead which has them agreeing to Rafa's terms..... only problem being that the phone number on the letterhead not only wasnt Celtic's phone number but the last 4 digits were "1872"

think I’ve bought tickets for almost all of them, even the non/Rangers stuff ?

They did, but he is out of contract at end of season so can still sign a pre-contract -

Apparently also after Fashion Sakala from Oostende in the Jupiler league dB -
Absolutely no chance that would, or even could, happen. Wait, this IS the SFA/SPFL....

Mate, they're truly awful. Right now I would be more surprised if they actually picked points up. They have : St Mirren twice (Home & Away), Killie Motherwell, St Johnstone away (who they dropped points to at home) Aberdeen twice (both at home) Before the end of February I can see them dropping points to St Mirren and Aberdeen at least once, and Motherwell won't be easy for them either. They SHOULD win these games comfortably, but they are on such a bad run that nothing would surprise.

these draws are costing me a fortune
-
The Europa League one is interesting - they have us as having the =9th best chance of making the quarter finals - that would be some achievement in my mind.
-
Depends. If we need any less than 4 points to win the title at the split (ie avoid defeat) then they wont have the OF that first game, unless lockdown is still in place, in which case they may as well

Separate Entity FC Plan About To Come To Fruition?
craig replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
They really are in the shit if they need Duffy -
Ayem you are right... if you ignore goal difference possibly being overturned..... This league will be won before the split IMO. They are awful, they aren't playing for the manager - and the manager, despite his tough rhetoric, has chucked it - his tantrums are a worked ticket.
-
Technically we need 10 wins - goal difference COULD be overturned, no matter how unlikely.

Can someone explain to me what the criteria are that allow you to "avoid" the BBC Licence ? -
Apparently it is Ntcham that has tested positive and Edouard has to self isolate again - funny that, given it is two players who seem to have downed tools, lol
-
Call me a conspiracy theory nutjob but I have long considered that they are avoiding games as much as possible in the hopes the game is "paused" - so that they then can suggest "not enough games have been played to award the title".
-
No, they haven't been named - only that a second player has it and that they were already previously isolating.

That’s an interesting point - assuming Celtic win ALL their remaining games including against us twice (no laughing at the back) we need, technically, 10 wins and a draw - realistically just the 10 wins given goal difference.... so if we win 7 of 8 at Ibrox (assume Celtic beat us at home) we then need 3 wins from 6 away - 3 wins from 5 assuming Celtic beat us at Parkhead And all of that supposes Celtic win out for the remainder of the season.... -

Ha, true - cheers mate. Its strange because a week ago I was desperate for 3 points every game to ensure we would win the league.... now I’m more concerned about.... actually, know what, I don’t want to jinx anything ? Very poor first half but they scored from what was basically their only chance. We never worked the keeper but scored 1, had one off the line and Defoe could easily have snatched it at the end. Motherwell are better than their league position suggests - and if they continue to play like that then Celtic will have problems with them too. Really wanted the 3 points today because 14 (assuming the win their games in hand) would be almost unassailable. But that said we have come out of the weekend having lost no ground despite another away game down whilst they were at home ???? -
