As is your prerogative. Doesnt mean it isnt true though. But from my perspective, that is exactly what Kent has become for you. The current Kyle Hutton. You harangued the guy and whilst he may never have been good enough for us, he never hid and always gave his best. -
I'm from Ayrshire, lived in Killie for a couple of years and also played for Killie Boys Club when I was younger (Gary Holt played alongside me) - but I wouldn't be overly disappointed if they went down - primarily because Billy Bowie is a but also because I am still seething that they replaced one of the best pitches in Scottish football with that monstrosity of a plastic pitch.

They have been mentioning us a LOT recently... hopefully they have been working on a docuseries on us - if they have they've picked the perfect season !

You actually DO pick on players, whether for fun or not. You give certain players more leeway than you give Kent. Kent has become this team's version of your Kyle Hutton. You/we can lament performances all we like - but what we don't know is the role that is being asked of them from the management team - and I will give an example. I remember being at Ibrox a couple of seasons ago and Rangers were down to 10 men, they also were losing 2-1 (I think, might have been 3-1) and @Rousseau favorite player, Josh Windass was on the halfway line whilst the opponent (think it was Hibs) were attacking.... a few guys in front of me started screaming at Windass to get back and help out and calling him a lazy bastard (and that was one of the more pleasant terms)….. what they didn't notice (because they were ball-watching - I was watching more than just the ball at the time) was that Windass actually DID make a move to assist defensively.... and Caixinha shouted to him from the touchline to NOT go back and help out - Caixinha specifically told Windass to stay on the halfway line and wide, presumably for a quick break should the defence clear. But all those fans were adamant he was being a lazy bastard, which on that occasion was absolute nonsense. I have yet to see anyone on here who "sees no fault in Kent's performances". Jones sealed his own fate with stupidity (as well as other things which I have heard from impeccable sources), Middleton couldn't get in Hibs team so not sure how he would get into ours, and Barker doesn't offer what Kent does (in the management team's mind). I personally find it a bit churlish that any of us, me included, are complaining about players being kept on the pitch in a game in which we win, during a season in which we have won 100% of our home games in the league, in a season where we are undefeated in the league.... maybe it is just me, but I trust this management team to pick the players who will get the job done - and get the job done they have. What would you, or any of us, be saying had he brought Kent off and we conceded a late goal ? Am I the only one who remembers SG made a late sub at Motherwell a couple of years ago when we were winning 4-3 (or something such like) and the player he brought on gave away an equalizer ? We won the game last night which means team selection, tactics, formation worked. Not sure why we need to find a boo boy when we win and are sitting at the top of the league by miles. -

Using highlights to think that someone has a point, particularly someone who clearly has a dislike of Kent being used as often as he is, isn't the objective basis on which to support that person. -

When Kent was running teams ragged the other week and being our MOTM - where was the "that's the Kent we know we have" ? I didn't see it, and it is for this reason, when people only bring up players when they have had a bad game (in that person's eyes) that people are seen to be anti certain players. Hagi has been fine of late - but he was poor at the start of the season when playing. Aribo also went through a sticky patch too - very, very few players will consistently be 8/10 every week - what fans miss with Kent is what he brings to the team just by being on the pitch - he is often doubled up in the final third because opponents know they can crucify them with his trickery and pace - which opens up space for others to exploit. It is a team game and Ryan Kent plays his part well enough. -

That was my take on it from the initial viewing - however, unintentional as it may be, he is over the ball and high on the Saints player - it really should have been red. -

More than likely - but I think he would be unlucky to see that happen - he was trying to step over the ball and protect the ball -

Leon King has played CB but is more of a right sided player - he actually started at RB with the club. -

Morelos will still play in Europe, absolutely no doubt in my mind. Jones and Edmundson ARE still our players. -

I think he is a fine player - but how on earth do we fit 2 players from Goldson, Helander, Simpson, Katic, Edmundson and possibly even Balogun (SG had said he wanted to renew his contract) ? Thats an awful lot of CB's. -

Consistency - exactly. Not a witch hunt against us - just that other clubs, one in particular arent seeing the same punishments for the same type of incidents - leniency for them, harsh punishment for us. Can't be a witch hunt against us when the punishments are deserved. -

Keevins talks shite - almost all the time - so like everyone else we will agree with him when it suits our argument, and say he is talking shite when it doesnt. I don't think McGregor's was deliberate and was incidental. Morelos's could also be argued the same way given where the ball was when he stamped on Porteous - but he still had little reason to try to get the ball by stamping down (whether that be ball or player). McGregor was somewhat fortunate either way because his rag-dolling of Kamara warranted a yellow, and his inadvertent stamp probably deserved a yellow too - but no way was he getting two yellows for the same continued phase of play. In McGregor's case he can legitimately argue that he was falling to the ground, having tossed Kamara to the ground, and it was accidental. It would be tougher for Morelos to do that as he was still on his feet whilst Porteous was on the ground, and there wasnt really a tangle of bodies to cause his stamping down. I initially thought he was trying to get the ball (and that can still be argued), but he stamped down and endangered his opponent, which rightly resulted in red. -

Objective analysis is one thing, calling one of our own, current players a moron is quite another. -

Are you Jordan Jones or George Edmundson ? It is when someone makes these sweeping statements that their argument seems to be agenda-driven. I am not saying that you are agenda driven but it weakens your position when you ignore two players who could very well have been needed but for their stupidity. Morelos has been the subject of a witch hunt in the past, of that there is no doubt - two (or is it 3) rescinded red cards would suggest so. But this season he has been cited twice, both times deservedly so. So there is no witch hunt against him - though I will caveat that and say "from the CO" - because I still think there is a witch hunt from sections of the media - their focus on Morelos is unbalanced and seems sinister. Is there a witch hunt against Rangers ? Again, I dont think there is. For there to be a witch hunt it would have to be that the decisions being made by the SFA/SPFL/CO are incorrectly hurting Rangers - but they arent. However, again I dont think there can be any doubt that Rangers are being dealt with differently than others. Other than the SG citation after the Dundee Utd game I dont think we have been cited unfairly very much at all. However, other teams and one in particular, find themselves almost never being cited. The number of times Scott Brown has gotten away with elbows and stamps is ridiculous - and Lennon's post-Dubai rant was worthy of a disrepute charge. But it never happens. That doesn't, however, translate to a witch-hunt - if anything it simply transfers to Celtic being unjustly treated positively. It isnt a witch-hunt against Rangers, but it does hurt us given they are our nearest competitor. -

Once had a client who was reasonably high profile in Scottish circles.... shall remain nameless. He banked with RBS. They had written off hundreds of thousands of pounds on the business overdraft.... he proceeded to simply clock up hundreds of thousands more of an overdraft - his business clearly was faltering... they wrote off hundreds of thousands more again. He was basically bankrupt and just used the bank as a funding mechanism. The bank got so deep into his business by writing off all this money that they essentially backed themselves into a corner and had to keep funding him. Crazy, crazy stuff
