Second half much more like us. And much more like what we’re used to seeing from Celtic too with wayward passes etc. -

Tims may finish bottom of their group with Leverkusen, Betis and Ferencvaros -
Yep, exactly. They (Celtic) will be seen to be favorites now given our players missing, but in all honesty it really just shows our strength in depth when we are looking at : McGregor & McLaughlin out - McCrorie in (played in Premiership for Livingston last season) Tavernier out - Patterson in (some wanted Patterson brought in anyway) Bassey (a month ago and literally NONE of us would have had him starting anyway) Kent (some have wanted him dropped anyway and, to be fair, he hasn't sparkled so far this season.... but always seems to turn it on against them) Wright - Think he is a big miss, particularly with Kent also out. However, we can still call upon Roofe and Sakala and also Defoe if needed This really does show the remarkable job Ross Wilson, Gerrard and the backroom team have done in terms of our squad depth. We could be without 5 starters and yet still will filed a very strong team. But you are right, the pressure has now actually shifted from us to them.
-
Completely agree - same with the Tims game. The only position where we truly are weakened will be keeper. But if those in front of the keeper do their job as they did last season we still have little to worry about. A back 4 of Patterson, Goldson, Balogun and Bassey/Barisic should be more than enough for them. Pretty sure that our back 5 is still better than Hart, Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt and Taylor

Must be me, but I don't see any tempers flaring on here, not at all. And in all honesty I see this as an opportunity for us to truly kickstart our season, siege mentality if you will

1. What needs moderated in this thread ? 2. If it is a snide dig at me I would much rather you stated the point without prevaricating around it.
-
Here was me thinking that this thread was about our covid "outbreak" and not our strength of squad. I must have missed something

Indeed.....

Bill isn't wrong though. The presentation may have been lacking but the jist is still correct. Even legally you haven't posted anything which says you can't (legally) pay for it.
-
That still doesn't confirm it is illegal to pay for them. Agreed though, it is irrelevant given they can get them on the NHS anyway.
-
Which part of the legislation says it is illegal to buy the vaccine as a private enterprise ?
-
I'm not sure which part of what gunslinger said you are missing..... plenty, including you, have been calling for Tavernier to be dropped along with Kent. Their positions are irrelevant, the point GS was making is that people such as yourself will now get your wish of seeing these two players dropped. And time will tell just how good their replacements are. For some reason, I am more concerned by the loss of Wright, which tells you how far the lad has come in such a short space of time.
-
That is patently untrue. You may not hear about it but there is absolutely zero doubt that if you have the cash, you can buy the jab. Zero doubt.
-
Not once they leave the grounds of Auchenhowie they dont

That's a lot of words to say basically nothing.

The only thing preventing Hagi from being a true star, IMHO, is that he lacks a yard of pace. Has everything else and, as said, is now much stronger. If he had that yard of pace he wouldn't be at Rangers IMO. -
There are plenty others I would sell before Kamara. It is more than noticeable that when he is out we struggle to control games. The way Bassey is playing I would sell Barisic before Kamara, and Tavernier too. I think in Patterson and Bassey we have more than capable replacements there, whereas Kamara brings something different to anyone in that midfield 3.

They’ve been doing it against dross. Whether they can do it against better teams remains to be seen. even AZ last night we’re absolutely garbage. They couldn’t even do the basics. Lets see just how good their passing and moving is when up against a half decent outfit. Their defense is murder. -

I watched their first half last night. Kyogo looks very tidy. It AZ should have been 2 up in the first 5 minutes. Theyre being built up as world beaters again… but they really aren’t that good ! -

Morelos behind Itten makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. And Hagi in a holding midfield role also makes no sense. And McGregor is still our best keeper. Aside from that though.... -

You’re fighting a straw man. Not sure what you gain by that. Doesn’t matter if there are 100 instances or one solitary instance whereby the result was “obvious” at 70 minutes to then not occur, the fact is proven that things can change no matter what it looks like at 70 minutes. The outcome in the Braga match WAS obvious at 70 minutes, it was obvious we would lose - that’s the whole point. We didn’t look like scoring that night either, but we did. And the game changed. In many ways it was similar to Tuesday night. I’m effectively playing devils advocate because I, too, couldn’t see a comeback on Tuesday night but the fact remains that it COULD have happened, no matter how we felt. Braga proved that. Your last paragraph is preaching to the choir. I was there, I witnessed it, I agree. Still doesn’t mean things couldn’t have changed. Either way, continuing this is futile because neither of us are prepared to alter our position. -
