  1. But your post sounds very "Glass Half Empty Loyal RSC"
  2. Hodgson till end of season confirmed. He worked for these owners previously at Udinese - sacked after 17 games
  3. Just a tad of an over-reaction here. I am a big, big fan of Ryan Kent - but amazing isnt a word I would use for him whilst at us. Vey good ? Sure. Excellent ? At times, yes. Amazing ? Nope, that is reserved (in my mind) for players like Laudrup and Gascoigne. It is a superlative too far for me
  4. They're 8 points clear of Motherwell, 10 clear of Hibs and 11 clear of Aberdeen. Their own fans have been saying he is their 3rd best CB this season..... they "should" have enough to secure 3rd without him - but that £500k would give them much more wiggle room to strengthen in the summer. Personally, I wouldnt mind seeing him come in but after they play Celtic tomorrow night.
  5. Anyone who isnt "wondering about money" hasnt been paying attention. The Board have said they needed about £8 million to see out the season, we have brought in about £14 mill from Gerrard and Patterson - but that doesnt mean that the excess funds should be spent. Our model is to be self-sufficient and that doesnt always equate to a zero sum game of "we raised £x mill in sales so should also spend £x mill on players". The reality is that, yes, this season is important because of automatic CL entry - but what if we spent the money and didnt win the league ? How far back does that put us financially ? Secondly, do we really actually need to spend that money ? I don't think we do. We have the best squad in the country and the best starting XI. Keep who we have. Hagi will be a miss but he hasnt been playing that well - bring in Wright or Lowry or even Bacuna - there are certainly plenty of options. We all would love to see transfer activity but the beauty of having the best team and the best squad in the country is that it means you dont need to bring reinforcements in when operating from a position of strength. Sometimes less is more.
  6. Nonsense. Ross Wilson has done an excellent job in his transfer dealings for the club
  7. I actually think it is you missing the point Gonzo. There was absolutely zero distinction in Bill's original post between supporter and employee. It simply said you werent fit to wear the badge if you supported the SNP. Either way, the thread is starting to move off tangent
  8. If he is one of the best 6 we have then the referees association should be disbanded and started again. I don't think I recall ever seeing him having had a decent game. Beaton is a better ref, and that tells you just how low the bar is.
  9. Did he really defend Brown's antics ? I know he is his best friend and all, but Brown acted like a wee ned. Interesting because whenever you speak to KT he expects young lads to be respectful....... different when it comes to his pal(s) ?
  10. In all reality Clancy should be removed from ALL games, not just ours. Whether you consider him a cheat or incompetent is largely irrelevant - he is completely out of his depth and that alone should see him removed from Premiership games, if not all professional football games. His performances are absolutely inept. In any other walk of life he would be getting his jotters, so should see the same consequence as a referee
  11. Yikes, that would be brutal - hopefully not true. My best mate is next door neighbour to his Dad, I am gonna see if I can get the scoop EDIT - It is Forrest's parents he is neighbours with - oops
  12. Anyone watch it ? Were they pish ? More injuries ?
  13. They are away to St Mirren - could win that one too, though will be difficult
  14. He is very articulate and very impressive in interviews. Very well thought of. I know of someone else at Ibrox, no not Kevin Thomson, who came to Rangers specifically because of Ross Wilson - and that person also is very, very good too - but it was Ross Wilson who convinced this person to come to the club.
  15. Agreed, anyone saying that this took too long doesn't really get how these things can't get rushed through in a day or so - no way did Gerrard get that Villa thing done in a day.
  16. Long may it continue. Fan media is the way
  17. In truth, that was my thought too because when I mentioned the Kelty tweet last night instead of KT's usual "insta-response" he waited an hour or so before messaging, lol.
  18. KT is my boy as you all know and I would love to see him as Rangers manager - and I have no doubts he will at some point. My concern though is that this season is far too important, IMHO, to trust in someone who is essentially a rookie manager. The players at Kelty love KT, still can't believe he managed to get Barjonas, which shows how highly thought of KT is - and I know he is also highly thought of at Rangers too. Just think that it has come a couple of years too soon for him.
  19. Not happening from what I was told last night mate
  20. It's a strange one because KT, as we all know, is a HIbs fan, but the Rangers fans treat him far, far better than Hibs fans (despite him doing his latter two stints at Hibs without getting paid). I think it is much for this reason that he LOVES Rangers - he definitely caught the Rangers bug - and not in a Gerrard kind of way...
  21. Not going to lie though.... I would be VERY excited by the prospect of Gio as manager and Kevin as the "Gary Mac" - Kevin, I know for fact, wouldn't accept anything less than 100% - those players would know for sure that they wouldn't be able to hide poor effort from him.
  22. I am confined to secrecy mate......
  23. Aye, not sure I would believe a whole lot he says anymore. All just puff pieces to appease.
