I do think it heartening to see people who are not from what we may call the traditional, mainstream Rangers' community, removing the planks from their eyes, and rejecting the prejudgements of others. Thanks Bearger, but the article has nothing substantial or new despite it's length. This type of subject you judge from actions or at least quotes by those directly involved. We'll have to be patient.

How would this, I think snappier, more cogent, slogan play: From the Urals to the Sea Europeans shall be free ? A ban from European competition?

Perhaps UEFA agree that there's nothing racist about the banner but maybe they feel it's discriminatory. It's such a generic term that to try and define it and argue whether the banner is or isn't discriminatory is a waste of time. If UEFA think it is then there's nothing we can do to change their mind. It's their competition and to take part we have to abide by their rules and their decisions, whether fair or not.

In this context, those shouting racism are only looking at the use of the word "foreign". So is it racist to criticise the US for many of its social ideologies that have crossed the pond and have been adopted by those looking to silence free speech? There is nothing racist about that banner, but it will be used to silence alternative views and create a disproportionate response.

The club should say it was just a spoof. A collection of words randomly put together to on bedsheets that would provoke a debate to nowhere. What else could it be? What group of fans aren't bright enough to elaborate a message that no one knows the real meaning of ?

I haven't a clue what the banners was about, but, like you, I doubt it was that. I may well ask the club about it. If they're really serious about it, then perhaps they need separate toilets so that it's not impinging in women's rights. JK Rowling Loyal

Winning at CP has certainly done no harm to BF’s chances of getting the job FT. Should be noted none of the three previous managers won at CP. The concern I have is we’ve been here before. Manager starts off well then after six months or so one or two results don’t go our way & we’re back where we were again. I think it’s still too early to assess BF.
