I moved to Holland in 1980 and at that time there was no internet as we now have. The only way I could hear a game was by radio from the BBC. The only radio I had that I could hear the game was in the car. it was an AM channel and every time it got exciting the signal seemed to disappear. I had something like "And Laudrup crosses the ball"and then crack crack crack, silence. i had to wait until the signal came back, and I could learn if the score was still the same. i remember I was sitting in the car and my neighbour came out of his house to walk the dog. Just at that moment it sounded like Rangers could score and then no signal. I was battering my hand against the dashboard in frustration. He walked past the car, looking at me as if I was mad. Sitting in the car without the engine running, having a fit. He must have thought I was off my head.7 points

My wife is Anglo Indian (but a Yank). Her old man is 91, still runs his engineering business, but because we spend all our time between Atlanta and London, this was the only time I could find to visit, she had been there for a month before I got there. I'm in Delhi now, flying back in about 8 hours. Then off on a work trip, then off on a birthday holiday for the big 604 points

I knew a bloke who lived on Somerville drive top floor and he told me he could watch three quarters of the pitch at Hampden park so we nicknamed him 75%4 points

Our defending at set pieces is a disaster. Clement was supposed to be an expert at defending corners. it certainly doesn't show on the park.4 points

Boyd, some of the fan media and Clements other detractors use the "we" and "the Fans" a lot when the truth is much different from that. All things considered I don't think the Manager is doing a bad job at all, and I am far from alone in that view. Do I agree with all his decisions, no, but I have never agreed with any Rangers manager on all aspects of their managing of the team. Had it not been for the cheating men in black we would already have a cup this season and we are still in europe. Yes the league has been a wash out, but winning it this year was fantasy in my opinion.3 points

Boyd just wants the best for Rangers as do we all. A manager who has the will to win. Who understands, when things aren't working, it's time to change. Who has the ability to put a rocket up the arses of each player prior to the start of each game and not just the second half. Like all of us he's frustrated and can't understand why he and 50000 of us can see it's not working but the manager can't.3 points

There's a complete denial amongst some of our fans regards our financial position versus theirs, the gap is way, way bigger than it was even in their biscuit tin days. And the avenues open to us to close that gap are disappearing. 55 masked it for a bit, due to us having a brilliant season, and them having an absolute retard as a manager. I loved Boyd as a player, but I avoid listening to him as a pundit, he's a roaster.3 points

I'm currently in Mussoorie in the Himalayan Foothills and watched the game in a wee boozer called the Garrison. I have watched matches in some strange places, but this topped it. Any other crazy ones?2 points

Wages are irrelevant to fans in the grand scheme of things. That's no far off of Tavs wages, and he can't score against diddy clubs keepers from 12 yards.2 points

And find someone who'd be willing to take the job, move to a backwater and win everything on a shoestring budget. Form an orderly queue.2 points

Patrick Stewart has repeatedly denied that is the case. We have to consider before sacking anyone just WHO we could get who (a) would want the job and (b) who is available.2 points

I used to drive up to the Knockagh Monument war memorial to listen to Rangers games when I lived in Northern Ireland. This was before digital radio far less the internet. The memorial sits on top of a 1,200 foot hill overlooking the Co. Antrim coast towards Scotland. I discovered that not only could you pick up Radio Scotland there but West Sound radio too. I'd drive up on a Saturday afternoon and listen to the commentary. I listened to Aberdeen play Dunfermline in a relegation play-off on top of a toilet block in Coober Pedy, a small mining town in the Australian desert. I'd met an Aberdeen fan and he had a portable tranny and the game was being broadcast on the BBC World Service. Coober Pedy is an unusual town in that everything is underground because of the heat and dust. So we needed some height to pick up the signal and that was the only building we could climb up onto. It was 7 in the morning or something too. We got some funny looks.2 points

I didn’t see it but I heard we got the usual kris boyd criticism after the game & aimed at Clement as usual. Whilst I myself sometimes have some reservations about his team selections & tactics is it not generally accepted that without significant investment in the playing squad there is very little anyone else could do to get more out of the current squad? Boyd seems to think we’re on a level playing field with the yahoos who have spent considerably more than us and have got themselves a bigger and better squad. And if we’re downsizing ( especially in the wages) it’s going to be even more difficult for whoever the manager is2 points

If we play well and lose, we're shite. If we play shite and win, we're shite. If we play well and draw we're shite. If we play shite and draw we're shite. Maybe the rules have changed, but the team that has the most goals wins the last time I looked. I'd take 38 shite wins all day long.2 points

Watch the first Rangers goal from yesterday again ( the first o.g.) Hagi gets into a great position to put a delivery into the 6 yard box but where is the Rangers striker? There is no Rangers player in the 6 yard box This has been a recurring problem for me this season. Good deliveries into the penalty box and the Rangers striker(s) posted missing. Surely the manager & his staff can see this? My view has always been we need 2 strikers as we’re not good enough to with just the one. Probably Dessers up top and Igamane in a free role behind1 point

How many games did they play together? I think its just a trend that's happened to a few players who play well, then their form falls off a cliff (Dessers, Barron, Tav, Butland, Igamane.........).1 point

I don't think its the "dry spell" that's concerning, it's the complete loss of form. This ould be down to him being moved to accommodate Dessers, or the fact he isn't a number 9 and we are missing numbers in the box when he leads the line.1 point

It could, but I would need to separate out the data. I can work on it.1 point

Our rolling xG over the course of the season (League and Europe, NOT Cups). Poor start, good middle, then horrible recently - our xGA actually went higher than our xG! Our xG is quite stable, hovering around 2 per game, but is on the low side. We get into trouble when our xG Against increases, like recently. That period around match 20 was good: we scored a lot of goals and conceded very few.1 point

You can to an extent if you're a Real, Citeh etc and can buy coaches out of their contracts. That's where our problem lies.1 point

Watched a few Rangers games in the bottom floor of a Masonic Lodge in Ottawa. Also, the manager of an Irish Pub in Orleans, Ottawa would stream our games onto the TVs for me (us). Strangest experience was going to watch Leeds v Man U in Malta with a Leeds fans I had met. Didn't tell me it was in the Valetta Man U supporters pub until we got there. Didn't help they all had a Leeds top on.......1 point

13 points behind Celtic, domestic season over before Valentines day and the manager is "not doing a bad job". Wow. As for Boyd and Fan Media, they are saying what lots of fans are thinking. I don't think they'll ever claim to speak for ALL Rangers fans but as yet another season falls apart, they are certainly asking the right questions both of the manager and the board.1 point

Agreed chaps, Boyd drives me bonkers. He seems to have a personal agenda. We all want more effort and more attractive football. However we still have a far bigger budget than the other 10 league clubs and there is no excuse for being so poor away from home at St Mirren, Motherwell, Dundee etc.1 point

A friend (a member of a learned profession!) watched Hibs v Barcelona from the roof of the old Albion lemonade factory after arriving at Easter Road to find the turnstiles closed. Couldn’t have had much of a view but better than nothing. I have no exotic experiences. I sometimes watched parts of non-league games from the roof of an old WW2 pillbox. Does that count?1 point

Apologies Compo but I disagree. This isn't the 90s. Most of the players we have shifted recently have been British players who were far from up for the battle. Matondo, Davies, Dowelled, Wright et all. Celtic have built their success on a team littered with foreigners and a couple of Scots. It can be done.1 point
