Cerny's passing is awful so far, and he'S not alone.4 points

What does it say about Bajrami that he can't get a game ahead of Lawrence? Unconvinced we'll get a result today. You'd imagine Hearts will start quickly and I'm unsure we'll cope with that.4 points

I'm currently in Mussoorie in the Himalayan Foothills and watched the game in a wee boozer called the Garrison. I have watched matches in some strange places, but this topped it. Any other crazy ones?3 points

There's a complete denial amongst some of our fans regards our financial position versus theirs, the gap is way, way bigger than it was even in their biscuit tin days. And the avenues open to us to close that gap are disappearing. 55 masked it for a bit, due to us having a brilliant season, and them having an absolute retard as a manager. I loved Boyd as a player, but I avoid listening to him as a pundit, he's a roaster.3 points

I am in full agreement with Fa1833, anyone who predicted Hagi should get their FGS points 😉3 points

Very lucky indeed not to lose that game, Right from the get go hearts where all over us, Jack B saves the day again. Is it true that we haven't got a set pieces coach and PC said he would take over that department? I heard Derek Ferguson say it on BBC sports sound. Dessers soon as he came on made a positive impact why Lawrence was on from the start especially after coming back from injury baffles me tbh.3 points

I used to drive up to the Knockagh Monument war memorial to listen to Rangers games when I lived in Northern Ireland. This was before digital radio far less the internet. The memorial sits on top of a 1,200 foot hill overlooking the Co. Antrim coast towards Scotland. I discovered that not only could you pick up Radio Scotland there but West Sound radio too. I'd drive up on a Saturday afternoon and listen to the commentary. I listened to Aberdeen play Dunfermline in a relegation play-off on top of a toilet block in Coober Pedy, a small mining town in the Australian desert. I'd met an Aberdeen fan and he had a portable tranny and the game was being broadcast on the BBC World Service. Coober Pedy is an unusual town in that everything is underground because of the heat and dust. So we needed some height to pick up the signal and that was the only building we could climb up onto. It was 7 in the morning or something too. We got some funny looks.2 points

Apologies Compo but I disagree. This isn't the 90s. Most of the players we have shifted recently have been British players who were far from up for the battle. Matondo, Davies, Dowelled, Wright et all. Celtic have built their success on a team littered with foreigners and a couple of Scots. It can be done.2 points

Curiosity do I still get the FGS HAGI prediction or that still down as a OG 🤣 @Rousseau2 points

Three points from a scrappy game. Hagi's dangerous passes created the own goal horror show for the jam tarts player so he deserves a little credit for that. Also thought big Cyriel made an impact when he came on. Some decent saves from Butland, but far from a good game overall.2 points

I haven't seen such a high risk strategy succeed since The Rumble in the Jungle. Rope-a-dope, eh, whodda thunk it? Clement, presumably, which is an even bigger surprise than it actually working.2 points

Not sure what to say. That might go down as our worst win ever if there is such a thing. Second half was better than the first but it wasnt exactly difficult to play like the first 45 again. I dont think the manager or players can hide, that result actually papers over a lot of cracks. Still - a nice way to stick it up to Hearts though.2 points

He is doing very well for us, without incurring such expense.2 points

Got to sign McCart in the summer It was a great ball from Hagi back in his 10 role2 points

Well - if you can win whilst playing badly, that's title-winning form isn't it? Isn't it?2 points

This (aside from the gifted goal) is awful from us. Hearts are well set up to win. We are miles off it.2 points

Best we can hope for is a win and another Lawrence injury so he doesn't get a game in the next round in Europe.2 points

Why? There is no way we won't get second place and we are still fighting in the Europa.2 points

but for Dessers being offside I would have had a correct score1 point

I didn’t see it but I heard we got the usual kris boyd criticism after the game & aimed at Clement as usual. Whilst I myself sometimes have some reservations about his team selections & tactics is it not generally accepted that without significant investment in the playing squad there is very little anyone else could do to get more out of the current squad? Boyd seems to think we’re on a level playing field with the yahoos who have spent considerably more than us and have got themselves a bigger and better squad. And if we’re downsizing ( especially in the wages) it’s going to be even more difficult for whoever the manager is1 point

Very much a case of result over performance today. It's no fun being negative but our continued inability to do the simplest things remains a real concern. Obviously confidence affects that and we have to hope we've taken some from the win. We need a lot more, that's for sure.1 point

Absolutely dreadful performance, good result but continue like that many bad results will follow.1 point

Two own goals and a heavily deflected final ball for Cernys has well and truly rolled this turd of a performance in glitter.1 point

Great counter attack. Still needed a bit of luck for the final pass..1 point

Despite the lead, it's another really lacklustre performance so far this afternoon. Our use of the ball is woeful and we're so slow and one-paced it's unbelievable. Time after time we give it away under no pressure and we're far too open defensively as a result. Not good enough.1 point

Absolute dire on the eye, Butland 3 top notch saves although he created the third one. Very lucky to be leading.1 point

We start playing out of the back again, against a team that does the press well. That's twice Hearts have wasted super positions now. BTW, where's Raskin? Only saw him at our corners.1 point

City back in the top 4 and I expect them to stay there and eventually get 3rd. There are just grounds teams never turn up and Newcastle cant show up at the Etihad. Bournemouth in 5th is unreal, and as it stands in a Champions League place. West Ham - disaster. The PE teacher is off to a slow start. The manager they should have went for was in the opposite dugout. Everton - What a transformation Moyes has done, they are now going for top 10. Arsenal - cant run the rest of the season hoping midfielders will bail them out like that.1 point

Difficult to keep the faith that we are on the right track when we’ve spent the majority of our budget poorly yet again though. According to Transfermarkt we spent 7.2m euros on propper and Bajrami. Another £1.5m on a loan fee. That’s huge money for us. Large transfers in particular need to be on young players we back ourselves to develop, like the Red Bull model.1 point
