  1. I've not seen it mentioned but for the Dundee Utd goal watch the foul on Diomande as the ball comes in. As everyone else is saying delighted with that result. Our vulnerability at crosses will remain until Balogun or Souttar return, in the meantime we just need to get on with it. He didn't take the headlines but Igamane is a joy to watch. His touches and turns are sublime and he almost guarantees at least one nutmeg a game. Winning is the most important thing but it's nice to be entertained too, to admire skill for skill's sake. What a finish from Dessers, 5 goals in 3 games, happy for him to shut up critics like me. As for the sending off, it's hard to look at it and not see bias. The hand ball too, deliberate or not he's bouncing the ball with his hand and yet that's not a penalty it seems.

  2. Always been curious who Dessers critics think could replace him & get same number goals.

  3. Fans can do what they want, but I've never understood singling out specific players for " the treatment" when the entire team are playing badly. Each to their own, but glad to hear and see its water of a ducks back to CD.

  4. From abother site. Last League Penalty • Rangers: 287 days • Celtic: 12 days Last League Red Card • Rangers: 0 days • Celtic: 329 days The numbers speak for themselves. The imbalance is glaring, and it’s impossible to ignore anymore. This isn’t a one-off — it’s a consistent trend that seems to only be intensifying. --------------

  5. Absolutely, he's brilliant to watch. Another huge asset he has is that he doesn't seem to get wound up or involved in any shite, just plays his game and gets on with it.

  6. This in itself needs to be called out by the people above Clement though. If they're backing the ref so quickly, releasing rule quotes and such, are they essentially saying the appeal will fail before its lodged? Its just all so amateur and incompetant at best

  7. Let's not forget that before the "foul" on Hart, there were 2 fouls on Rangers players. So when the goal was disallowed, then we should have been awarded a penalty.

  8. Scott Burns @ScottBurns75 Rangers are set to agree a new 3 year deal with talented teenager Findlay Curtis. The midfielder who made his debut against Fraserburgh and came on against Manchester United. https://x.com/ScottBurns75/status/1883950504398762015

  9. Yes, but his incisive passing is priceless; he can make us into a very good team. Don't get too bound up in this horse trading as we have a team/squad to build.

  10. Good footballer but not a fullback. Sell and buy a couple of tacklers.

  12. Sky Sports Dermot Gallagher on Ref Watch said never a red, very surprised it was shown and not overturned. Sue Smith and Stephen Warnock were baffled and were asking where the foul was, they said he is just keeping his balance. But all 3 said it was a push by the Dundee Utd player who was already on a yellow. I think it will get overturned for sure.

  13. Oh, he's far from the finished article, completely agree. Ironically the tricks might get coached out of him, apparently they don't go down well with professional players and while he's a big strong boy some thug defender might take retribution having been humiliated live on TV. But for spectators watching someone beat a man with skill is still spell binding. The deftness of touch, the speed of thought and the appreciation of the ability required to execute it. Watching that thug Gallagher being sent for the messages late in the second half was a delight, no humiliation is too great for him.

  14. Whilst I agree, his final pass and decision making are still a little erratic. However he is young so hopefully, these aspects of his game will improve the more he plays.

  16. Diomande for me. He was booted up and down the park with very little protection from the ref. There was a determination about him yesterday that I hope he maintains in future games. I loved his defiant badge kiss as he walked off after the red card.

  17. You are correct. He was match ref & Beaton was on VAR. Awarded then disallowed a Sima goal after Beaton directed him to VAR for a non-existent push in Joe Hart who had simply misjudged the cross. Walsh gladly obliged to disallow the goal to help his team out. Beaton remains in Brenda’s back pocket after the hearts game last season when he correctly call a penalty on VAR which somehow upset Brenda. The SFA did nothing to protect him.

  18. A good game of football judging by the tv highlights (which is not a good way to to assess a match) The defence really needs a pair of bruisers who can head the ball. The current lot are weak. Some of them - ok, Jefte - turns his back on the cross instead of blocking it with his face if need be. He’s a good footballer but he’s not a defender. Davie Robertson wasn’t a big lad but he was afraid of nothing. Butland was good. The attacking play was good. Dessers was excellent. Has he turned a corner just as he’s about to leave? United played pretty well. Had a real go. Never ever a red card. Anyone else see a physical resemblance between Clancy and Walsh and even to a lesser extent Robertson? Not quite brothers but cousins

  20. Walsh had his arm up pointing to the right and was obscuring his view of the incident. Var also kept replaying the view from behind walsh which was the wrong view to see the incident.

  21. He has done well but I'm still of the opinion he doesn't quite suit how PC wants to play. He represents a big investment for a player that is shoehorned into the team. In terms of squad-building, I'd be inclined to move him on.

  22. But of an odd one if true. Will need to pay him well to extend and he has little or no transfer value.. Id be happy to let him go and recruit someone on half the wage.

  23. Chris Jack @Chris_Jack89 Chelsea have made contact with representatives for Jefte regarding a potential move this summer. No bid has yet been made for the Brazilian. @RangersReview55 understands the club are aware of interest from other European clubs in the left-back.

  24. If they get away with it this time then I think that the chances of 56 in the foreseeable future are long gone. Done it once then Walsh and crew will do it again. Anyone have the phone number for the FA??

  25. The best part is, he is seeming to impose himself on games more and more each passing game

  26. I’ve seen far better players than Dessers getting the treatment from the Ibrox legions they get it because these fans pay their hard earned money following the team and are entitled to boo players and board when they aren’t happy with them l

  28. For those wanting to see the incident again, here's the clip from SS. The last 6+ clips shown are always the same from the angle of the ref, who make it look like the deliberate attempt that Walsh saw from his perspective. The one from the side showed that there was a push and Diomande's arm comes around flailing because of it. Did it struck him? The reaction of the player tells a lot ... since, in this day and age, he'd have gone down clutching his face in faux agony. I overheard the story told by the reporter that Walsh officiated the EL game of Union St. G, sending off 4 players, one/some will thus be suspended next week. He probably wasn't aware of this at the time, I'd assume ... While I can understand not wanting to risk the result, he might have subbed Diomande and Raskin off for Curtis and/or Rice for the last 10 mins. Lovelace did quite well when he came on, setting up Dessers for the deciding goal. These boys, much like Igamane and Nsiala, are not afraid of something spontaneous, and do things more instinctively. Our "veterans" like to think and keep the ball too long, hence, the oppositions can react much easier.

  30. Bloody Dessers late goal took away my correct score! 😂

  31. Remember too it was Beaton on VAR who caused the goal to get disallowed. Walsh just seized the opportunity However back to yesterday and surely diomande’s red card will get rescinded once the incident is viewed from another angle

  34. It's actually worse than I thought. We are the only team in the entire SPFL 4 divisions that haven't had a penalty in the league.

  35. The fact that you have to ask speaks for itself. I think that it is satire, because who from the SFA would be available to comment on a Sunday? And, of course, to make such a statement would prejudice any appeal.

  36. Its just a continuation of very dubious decisions going against 1 team and going in favour for another. We've yet to be awarded a penalty in the league this season thanks to the "penalty to Rangers" narrative last season. The time for dignified silence is over.
