Would it be a great move for us considering his recent effect on The Gers 🤔2 points

The required pressure can only come from above. Imagining that these things work bottom up is part of the problem if you are honest with yourself.2 points

Yeah, part of the overall problem if we are honest with ourselves. We can't complain that the club are apathetic, when the majority of fans show the exact same (or worse) lack of enthusiasm of putting the required pressure on officials and authorities. Saturday should see whomever is referring hounded (verbally) from 1st minute to last. However, outwith a few "F the SFA" chants from UBs they'll get an easy ride.2 points

Didn't the SFA spokesmen say "honest error", "white noise" etc. The audio released throws up more questions than answers (see below). Collum admits it's a terrible decision but we can't let this lie. https://x.com/ibroxrocks/status/1869721410299658461?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet2 points

We should cash in on Dessers while someone can still be persuaded he is a goalscorer. There is no upside to keeping him at the club. Igamane is different. It would be tempting to accept a big offer for him. I think that the rest of the team will improve when he plays. I would keep him for another 18 months.2 points

The Shire had a great social club back in the day and were partial to a wee cultural evening every now and then. Knew a few guys who played for them in mid-late 80s and went to see them a few times. Shame what happened to them.1 point

Yes, you are right - the lease ran out at Broadwood. See on their website the plan is to return eventually to Glasgow. Would love to see Third Lanark, my grandfather's club, be resurrected.1 point

There isn't a dedicated thread. It's all in the match thread. It's an apathy thing.1 point

Wouldn't surprise me that part of the deal to get Hagi back playing was that he is in far more control over his next move, potentially with some sort of release clause agreed.1 point

Aye, point taken, just not at the price and wage we paid for the big yin.1 point

Wouldn't be too bothered if he was 29 and playing in the Bundesliga or similar, but still playing in the SAP? hmmmm....1 point

I'm not a fan of the Rayners link: he's 29!1 point

Are Clyde not in Hamilton now? I remember ES Clydebank what’s more I remember East Stirlingshire. I was at one of their last games in the league against the Hibs at Easter Road. ‘Shire brought about ten fans with them. What a racket they made supporting their team but even more so protesting the theft of their Club.1 point

Nobody played without error. Raskin shades it for me, but Dio and Hagi were half decent. Bajrami could have taken it had he not fucked up his decision making in the 4on1 passage.1 point

It's bias. The only way to achieve fair decisions in future is for the SFA not to employ Scottish refs, assistant refs and VARs - obviously an impossible situation.1 point

It's incredibly frustrating to see these consistent and impactful decisions go against us. The apologies and promises of 'better training' feel hollow after so many instances. It's hard to escape the suspicion that there's a bias at play. When analyzing these decisions, it often feels like the safe option for the referee or VAR is to rule against Rangers, even if it's debatable. The Dessers goal disallowed for offside, the Johnston handball, the Scottish Cup final incident – these are just a few examples where the decision seemed to favor Celtic. While some calls may be subjective as said , I think the sheer volume of decisions going against us seems statistically improbable. The constant criticism from Celtic and the pressure they exert on officials could be contributing to this trend. Our new CEO faces a daunting task in addressing this. A more robust approach to challenging these decisions and holding officials accountable may be necessary if that's even a thing, with Willie Gollum at the helm I doubt it.1 point

The one thing that will destroy your credibility in such a role as he is in, is going off like a jack knifed milk float before you even have a full grasp of said role. Give him a chance buster.1 point

KoraMaroc on X: "🚨Breaking news! AS FAR and Rangers are set to sign a partnership that will pave the way for young talents from AS FAR’s academy to make an earlier move to Europe. The deal will also see friendly matches scheduled between the two clubs, strengthening the ties between them. This https://t.co/Pen6lm1Brv" / X Interesting if true.1 point

ZaK Lovelace came on as a sub and scores 87th minute winner in a 3-2 victory over Celtic in Glasgow Cup Final. Young Cubs overcame Celtic and some dubious refereeing decisions to lift the trophy. Cortes and Matando both started the game and played 45 minutes. Congratulations to the Cubs.1 point
