ZaK Lovelace came on as a sub and scores 87th minute winner in a 3-2 victory over Celtic in Glasgow Cup Final. Young Cubs overcame Celtic and some dubious refereeing decisions to lift the trophy. Cortes and Matando both started the game and played 45 minutes. Congratulations to the Cubs.2 points

I grew up in Halewood and saw both players many, many times. I think KK is the best player I have ever seen because of his dedication and workrate. What a role model. He was a low budget signing by Shankly who made the most of his big chance, whereas Dalglish was a big signing and expected to do well from the start. Over the years I saw many great players, including Johan Cruyff, but for me Keegan had the lot. He also proved himself abroad and at less successful clubs, notably Newcastle who he inspired to promotion but also Southampton who were as unglamorous as you could get in those days.2 points

I had that photo on my bedroom wall in my youth and that was my 1st Rangers kit. If any photo encapsulates what a Ranger is (or should be) and what Rangers are (or should be), its this one.2 points

People make unkind and unfounded remarks about the size of my ears but jings, look at the lugs on that. Spockian I thought he spoke pretty well. Interviews like that are never going to be highly successful. The trick is to avoid ridicule and he managed that. Good luck to the lad.2 points

Sulking fans will stay away. The supporters will be there though.2 points

There's a circle since we've been back ... Refereeing, Compliance Officer, Songs. I'd wager that, given that our support belts out the "sectarian" songs for months now, someone of the you-know-who brigade will pick up on this if things go too well for us.2 points

That Dessers goal should have stood. The referee clearly saw the foul( he was just yards away) but didn’t blow his whistle. Isn’t var for incidents missed? This one wasn’t missed. Play continued and into another phase of play and after 3 Celtic players touching the ball including the goalkeeper, Dessers scored. By disallowing the goal it was effectively re-refereeing the game.2 points

I'm undecided whether to be a sulking fan or a real supporter. It'll depend how damaged my ears and limbs are after The Exploited gig on Friday night.1 point

Or its made by Umbro and distributed by Castore. I'll endeavour to find out from someone I know in the retail department.1 point

I hope there’s a good attendance. The level of performance has improved in the last few games1 point

You are absolutely right. There is a good post from a Rangers FB site detailing the VAR mistakes over the last couple of years. If they are mistakes why do they never go against them when we are playing them? Cheating on the park is one thing but cheating with VAR is on a different level entirely because everyone can see it and they've got the system so stitched up they don't give a monkeys.1 point

Of course he is but he is refereeing a game that is going 100 miles an hour. VAR was created to step and help refs. Like they did last season when the disallowed Dessers goal for the previous foul. The onus is on VAR here.1 point

Time to copy Greece, bring in foreign refs for the big derby games. we should ask for the same here. Collum & co are as corrupt as they come1 point

Castore own the distribution rights for Umbro in the UK and are in the process of moving all their football club contracts to Umbro.1 point

Chief Commercial Officer? Is there another Commercial Officer aside from the Chief? Like Senior, Junior, whatever?1 point

Quite right. The Board’s collective second touch appears to be a tackle. They’re getting what they deserve.1 point
