Good to see the manager now realises Hagi is a better option than most if not all the others available in his role(s)1 point

Fraserburgh get a trip to Ibrox. Return of the tie a few years back. The Broch were very pleased with that one so this will be even better. An interesting match in Dundee. Interesting if you’re a Dundonian A heavy onus lies on Kilmarnock to clear the way for a more worthy potential winner. Tie of the Round is the big north east derby, Elgin City v Aberdeen. A facebook post by a misguided enthusiast: “A lot o folk were hoping for a home draw against one o the less fancied teams ....an we got it” I suspect he’s too young to remember the last SC encounter 1972 or thereby. 5-0 Aberdeen.1 point

Saturday night I watched the gunners beat the hammers forget the score because the hammers played some good stuff but not good enough now the one thing that caught my eye was the quality of the corners taken by the gunners players believe me a Hateley or a Stein or a big DJ would have had a field day then you watch the cannonballs that are thumped into our strikers I use the word striker’s lightly why haven’t we anyone who can flight a ball gently to the target1 point

He’s our top scorer this season but most would be happy for him to leave. He misses many chances but scores some good goals. He keeps going but occasionally shows his frustration. Whatever you think of Dessers, I don’t hold with the derision that is meted out to him. This happens with other players too but Dessers is the main recipient. I find this derision, particularly by supporters at the match, somewhat unbecoming. It is said in some quarters that his confidence is low and this adds to his poor decision making in front of goal. If this is true then when he misses an easy chance, after our initial cry of anquish it does not help to constantly barrack him. When someone is low and out of sorts they need supported, not hounded. I’m sure the management and his team mates are doing their bit to support him. I just wish our supporters had a tad more understanding.1 point

I think you could say the same about Dessers. Never hides, always available and appears to have a positive attitude1 point

If Dessers scores 20 goals this season (a reasonable return), we'll not win the league and probably won't win any cups. We need other players to contribute significantly, 1 goalscorer doesn't win you the league. Morelos, Roofe, Tav, Kent.... Boyd, Miller..... McCoist, Hateley.....1 point

You could say that of professional footballers in general. However, they (including Dessers) are human and will be affected if the criticism is sustained and especially if perceived as unreasonable. IMO Dessers has generally done his best and has done so in the face of a lot of very vocal criticism. He has scored more goals than Egil Ostenstad, Jeffers, Beattie and Sebo put together. If asked to play a role that doesn't match his game then better to direct a good chunk of the criticism elsewhere. A lot of the negative vibes around the club have their root in our financial situation.1 point

He isn't the player we need going forward, but he isn't as bad as some make him out to be (his goalscoring record for us is decent). He should score more goals but is currently carrying the goalscoring burden on his own, as he did last season when Sima got injured. The scramble to have Igamane (or Danilo) to replace him is premature, both of them have a lot to prove, even after Igamanes performance on Thursday.1 point
