It was the introduction of Hagi in the second half which I thought improved us. We had someone who always wanted the ball, drove forward and tried to link up through the middle and out wide. Diomande didnt do that first half. Dessers first half was anonymous. Danilo at least give us movement up front which helped but he lacks match sharpness at the moment. Whether he’s the answer remains to be seen3 points

A disappointing result in more ways than one. First half we were slow, predictable & created little & they scored with one of their few attacks. Second half we were much better with Danilo & Hagi on for the ineffective duo of Dessers & Diomande. Scored an excellent goal and could have got 3 or 4 if a bit sharper in front of goal. We are not scoring enough goals at the moment mainly due to the strikers. From where we are at the moment maybe it’s time to persist with Danilo & Hagi?3 points

Did one of them a few years ago, you'll find that time will have had no effect on those that were arseholes 36 years ago.3 points

A really thoughtful post - a bit like most of your other ones. You just try and antagonise people. It's boring......................2 points

We hear from our connections down Gourock way, that Offord is a 'Good Guy', and a Bluenose . RANGERS could be set to name Malcolm Offord as their new chairman. SunSport understands that the 60-year-old is the leading contender to replace John Bennett as the Ibrox side's new permanent chief. John Gilligan stepped into the role on an interim basis after Bennett was forced to take a step back on health grounds. And now Greenock-born businessman Offord is ready to step into one of the biggest jobs in the Scottish game. And we understand he has already been involved in discussions with potential replacements for James Bisgrove as Rangers chief executive. That key role has been vacant ever since Bisgrove dropped the bombshell news that he was leaving the club for Saudi Arabia. Offord, who carries the title Lord Offord of Garvel, is a current member of the House of Lords. He has a background in politics and business, having been Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department of Business and Trade from April 2023 to July 2024. He graduated in Law from Edinburgh University in 1987 before embarking upon a 25 year career in The City of London. The Conservative Party donor returned to Scotland in 2014 and established the private equity boutique Badenoch & Co. Well connected in the City of London - which should help in attracting outside investment - he is a regent of Edinburgh University and a Trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.2 points

Is it me, or does he look like Starmer? Whatever; he resembles Starmer more than we do a football team.2 points

I see we’ve got Don Robertson as ref today with David Roome( who missed 3 offside Celtic players at their goal in the 2019 LC final) one of his assistants. Worse still Clancy on VAR with mulvanney AVAR. going to be a difficult afternoon 😡2 points

One of the greatest displays I’ve seen from a Rangers player came on a frost covered Parkhead Dave Smith that day played for me his best ever performance for the club he was supreme in every touch of the ball .2 points

I've not felt so disengaged from the club in the 43 years I've been actively following Rangers.1 point

I didn't say he was good enough. I just posted some stats showing that Danilo has better numbers than Dessers. He didn't score today but got an assist, and did much more on every count than Dessers. We were much better as a team with Danilo. The trouble is he's only played 81 minutes, as you pointed out.1 point

Ive been going for 19 years but I'm sick and tired of the club1 point

When Clement joined he appeared to favour Danilo over Dessers but chopped and changed the team. Danilo got injured and Dessers became the number 9 scored 20 goals. The player who dragged us back into the game today was Cerny in my opinion. He was our best player. Hagi did add something though. It was yet another game where we struggled for 45mins then played OK for 45mins.1 point

So it shows how bad Dessers is when Danilo outperforms him. And as you said even he isn’t that good. I’ve banged on about this for ages, this team needs a proper 9 that can hold up the ball, win high balls and link up play. Dessers is 0/3 and Danilo is 1/3.1 point

Can we afford Guardiola? . . . . . . We don't have enough pennies to buy a pie at half time 🤣1 point

The Jefte / Ridvan sub when chasing the game was utterly bizarre. Cerney only player who got pass marks in my humble opinion.1 point

No need to panic troops, players just in the building, rebuild, trust the process, see the real Rangers in October. Clement has got this.1 point

Tough luck. Can’t they afford accommodation in glasgow area the night before the game? Everyone knew the weather forecast 3-0 win & 3 points to Rangers 🤓1 point

I think there is definitely a chance of postponement. The pitch will be fine, it’s the travel and local area that might be too bad. Having been in the south side this morning the roads are definitely getting tricky and m74 is very slow1 point
