  1. I decline to answer that on ground that it may incriminate me.

  2. I can't be arsed with Tom Lawrence. He has a haircut like a thirteen year old.

  4. Don't think it's quite that simple. Sacking him would cost us a fortune. There are no obvious replacements. We only have skeleton staff at board level. We knew this wasn't going to be easy. We can't keep sacking managers ever Autumn.

  5. I liked the subject, but thought the question wasn't constructed well.

  6. Big Dunc won't be out of a job for long and he's conducted himself brilliantly during ICT troubles.

  7. Do people expect insightful answers during press conferences? May as well ask them what they're having for tea, for all the use it is. The only important stuff happens on the pitch.

  8. But we do both. He is right. We pass the ball about at the back, realise teams wont be drawn out into pressing us then play direct longer. I still think it would work better if we had Prso / Jelavic / Cousin / Morelos up front. But we don't. He's also asked in the past why we are so easy to play through (one or two passes straight down the middle can cut us open). The manager didn't give an answer to it, just fluffed around it. The answer is pretty obvious to me that we play in a way that leaves us open but if players win the duels then it should be an issue. Soutter lost his on Sunday and we lost the game.

  9. I posted this on the other thread: Terrible question. He gave PC an out. PC has a point - too many sideways passes or too many long balls. Which is it? He should have just stuck to long balls. It was a good idea to ask about style, though. We don't get that often.

  10. The club set expectations in the summer with the downsizing and the new contract for the manager. Not sure what the support were expecting.

  11. Don't we require it to participate in European football?

  13. I’m in favour of that but will we have the collective patience to let them settle? (Alex Scott scored a hat trick in his first match!)

  14. I wasn't too bothered about the Hagi situation a few weeks ago but surely we need to get him or Bajrami in behind the striker. The pair of them are more creative than Lawrence.

  15. I agree but it's a good starting point if you want to slag him off.

  17. I only listen to snippets but no, Clement doesn't bug me anywhere near as much as Beale did.

  18. That's the thing. No one cares what managers or players say if the team are winning.

  19. At least he asked it fan media have being receiving some unfair criticism recently that they never ask the difficult questions or questions the fans want raised (the mainstream media aren't going to ask them). He may have given Clement an out, but it certainly rattled Clement (as did David Edgar a few weeks back) and Clement failed to answer either of the questions. Hopefully FLHAD will continue to use their platform to raise these type of questions. Clements press conferences are becoming as predictable, boring and cringy as Beales.

  20. Knutsen's Bodo/Glimt are playing just now, leading Braga 0-1. No relation to the thread at all...

  22. Your correct but I'm of a belief that every good/great manager always had a sidekick that kicked them up the arse when needed probably today's lads would be running to the players union

  24. Well done to Stevie Clifford asking him that question, its not easy to put yourself out there and ask something that the manager wont want to hear. Or the usual cookie cutter guff for the usual suspects like Raman and Kheridine.

  25. Danilo and Hagi are playing in the B Team to get fit for the first team. N'Siala is a project signing, so these matches will hopefully help him become more accustomed to Scottish football. Things are bad enough without pouring misery/sarcasm on snippets of good news.

  26. Glad we spent 10 million on the likes of Danilo, Hagi and N’Siala to beat stenny in the challenge cup. 😂

  29. We unearthed Morelos for £1M - good scouting, great value for money and turned into our top goalscorer in European compitions.

  30. That's exactly it. Remove Dessrs and Lawrence and replace them with who? Dessers isn't a player who can play as a loan striker, yet the manager plays him as a loan striker and we expect it just to work or surprised and shocked it doesn't? The system needs changed to attempt to get the best out of the players we have.

  31. Dessers, Lawrence, Matondo and Cerny all have 4 Goal Involvements (goals + assists) this season. I think the point is Dessers and Lawrence are not doing anything special; they're just available. We need better all-round.

  32. He wasn't a 'showy' player - just quiet and efficient. Maybe that was the reason, but Clough was some judge of a player.
