Baxter was a far better player than either Shearer or Greig but he was never a captain. Barron’s got what it takes to captain the side and he’ll never be as good a player as Ferguson.5 points

I thought Liam's nadir came at the end of the match with, "Rangers have pilfered three points". 'Pilfered' - stealing something of little value. The three points won by Rangers are of the same value as the three points won by Liam's favourites against Dundee and, are even valued the same as his auld man's favourites win at Perth. Maybe Liam should concentrate his energies upon his brother, Rory? We cannot visit the sins of Rory on his bruv' but, whilst a senior Police officer it was revealed Rory had a social media history of vile comments reference the Ibrox Disaster. If Rangers are pilfering, is Rory stealing the dignity of folks who attended a football match and had the air crushed from their bodies? Liam is the very epitome of PQ.4 points

I thought it was a pretty obvious penalty yesterday (having seen the replays).4 points

3 points, great goal, the rest is best forgotten. We were dead on our feet for the last 25 minutes.4 points

Don’t think he’s quite ready for that yet. He’s only 5 minutes in the door & only 222 points

I always base it on whether if it was my team would i want a penalty and yesterdays award was a YES from me.2 points

I think everyone can see why it was given yesterday but it was so similar to the one hearts didn’t get at Celtic Park. Why was that I wonder? 🤓2 points

The way various pundits get so excited about a Scottish Cup win nearly a decade ago sums a lot about Scottish football up. Weirdos.2 points

If Werner could finish it would have been at least 5-0 in that game. I guess that has to be the end for Ten Hag though, he cant turn things around now especially against Porto away. Tuchel would be the only realistic option at the moment but the board obviously saw something they didnt like. Ashworth and Southgate are very close mates so he will be a possibility and I hope so because he is worse than Ten Hag - he didnt even play Palmer in the Euros. Zidane would be the only A-lister available but he doesnt fancy Manchester nor speak the language.2 points

I couldn't say whether it is a penalty or not. There are so many inconsistencies with the handball situation.1 point

Butland - played well outwith the penalty save and has quietly had a strong start to the season Celtic aside. He needs a little loving with the morons calling him out online and offering him out outside the stadium at the end of last season. But aye, getting back to good form.1 point

He may have what it takes but so might John Souttar. I've said before the role of captain is "over-played" in modern football. We should be looking at having 11 captains / leaders on the pitch.1 point

Raskin has been out for ages and hardly any minutes to his name this season either. He's not there for the more physical games, but IMHO more forward-minded than most we had recently. Diomande is a bit of a conundrum. Sometimes it looks like he's there for the joy of the game and action, but forgets what to do with the ball. We've probably the youngest DM/CM in a long time, Barron (22), Diomande (22), Raskin (23) and Sterling also just (24). I'm not sure whether we can make these four click with one another (sometimes we need more steel, sometimes we don't ... yet we always play the same pairing), and at times we need to tell e.g. Diomande that he should stay further forward rather than run about when his presence in the defensive third is not required. I was rather disappointed with Dowell (also just 26), who IMHO did not occupy free spaces to receive and play the ball as you would expect from someone who's put on for exactly this role. Thus, we often couldn't get out of bother, as there was no player to play a pass to.1 point

Barron is the first player i've seen at the club in a long time, that could be a genuine captain . Not a good idea to do it at this point , but he's putting in consistent performances, and he looks to have the hunger and desire that all good captains have.1 point

I voted him MotM. Thought he was the one player who was constantly looking to get forward and playing with some urgency. Has to be Diamonde. We missed his ball retention yesterday.1 point

It was noted over on the German board shortly after HT. Some X feed reply said that both he and Raskin signalled to the bench during the first half. Neither looked in any bother ... from over here 😎 Hibs took the game to us in the second half, and we didn't look comfortable at all. Sterling and Kasanwirjo look to be more on the aggressive side, so no problem bringing them on. My main point of bother was that we didn't have enough attacking people on (even though Sterling tried his best) to keep Hibs occupied in their own half. But that is a feature for ages now. Two or three attackers shall prevail against 4 or 6 defenders, who, if they get the ball, lump it over our midfield (and preferably to the flanks left empty by our fullbacks), and we soon end up in bother. But in saying this, I only preach to the converted anyway ... Trying "to play out of defence" is also one of these things that makes you scream at the monitor. Even if the manager thinks otherwise, these chaps out there should know what to do. Which adds to the frustration.1 point

Can see why it was given but just further proof the "hand-ball" rule is not fit for purpose.1 point

Jefte for me also but a shout out for Butland. The goal was a brilliant finish but bar that Lawrence did nothing else.1 point

They spoke with him in the summer and were very open about it but there was no agreement. Tuchel likes more control than just being a coach and Ineos were bringing in the Ashworth / Wilcox set up.1 point

VAR awards (or doesnt award) penalties based on:- 1) which team it’s against 2) who the match referee is 3) who the VaR referee is Fairly obvious why it was given yesterday. Walsh was the match referee & Clancy was on VAR. Would they have given it against Celtic at parkhead? I doubt it1 point

Thought all EL games had VAR? there’s no VAR for Swedish domestic games as I understand1 point
