As the song goes ... The next best superstar! Truth be told, the decades should have taught us that a player, no matter his pedigree, needs to pull on our jersey and has to perform in it. Some boys have risen to the challenge and became legends, some "stars" never made it even into living memory (aside from being a failure for some). Should Igamane and Bajrami manage to bring 56, no-one will ask where they came from.4 points

Id take a punt on Moyes, garbage football but effective. Can work with limited players. Moyes team with a McTomminay would work wonders. Think Cahill / Fellaini type vibes.2 points

Clarke is generally OK in games like last night where we are playing defensively against a much better team. He doesn't have a clue when in comes to us playing against a team of similar quality where we need to play a more attacking style, as was shown by our inadequate showing in the Euros.2 points

It's hard to tell - every aspect of the club seems to be dripping with despondency. Hopefully some of the new signings can lighten the mood but I won't hold my breath. I'm expecting things to get worse in the weeks ahead. There are definite concerns about our style of play but we'll just need to grin and bear it for the next few months.1 point

We all see different games. I don’t think Scotland did much competing. I don’t think the Portuguese were rattled. They nearly got six. The Portuguese ‘keeper needs to take a good look at himself. Two attempts on target and he let half of them in.1 point

Scotland are the Rangers of international football! Ronnie Yeats died yesterday; only got 2 caps because he was competing v McKinnon, McNeill and Ian Ure for example. Now we cannot produce centre halves.1 point
