I think we've done well to offload several overpaid players. Outgoings have been slightly better than expected. With incoming players, it's probably too early to cast any sort of valid judgement but I think we've brought in some decent ones. I worry about the season ahead if we suffer similar injury problems as last season because we lack depth in a few areas. I did say it would take a few windows to sort out previous mistakes and stand by that. I can't see us winning the league but we should have enough to challenge them.6 points

He's not a boy at 27. The Yahoos have track record of this. Buying up "Scots Talent" then letting it rot in the reserves! They have spent £11m on a centre mid, the best McGowan can hope for is replacing him for last 10 mins when a games won. Anyway, the real prospect at at Dundee is Lyall Cameron. U21 international, central midfielder 21 yo, assisted in a goal today. He is currently valued at £600k, but now entering final year of contract.I would expect this is the sort of profile we should be looking at. Maybe a cheeky bid in winter window? Or grab him on pre contract in January.3 points

I do not think the draw is all that bad and we could get through. All this doom shite does us no good.3 points

The bookies have stopped taking bets on you. 😉2 points

He could play CM but I think Barron and Diomande have more about them. I did like him at CB, but Souttar and Propper (and the new guy) are ahead of him. He certainly doesn't play on the wings anymore. Sterling is a good player to have, but he's mostly just athletic; a Jack of all trades, master of none. He'll be preferred in certain games I'm sure.2 points

Sadly, I feel that Tav has run his race and even more depressingly that will be exposed for all to see tomorrow. Go on skipper, prove me wrong.2 points

Exactly we just need to back them now they will take time to gel and Clement imo is the man for the job. He needs time to mould the players, There will be bumps in the road we just need to remain level headed and realistic to where the previous management and board have lead us to and what needs to be endured to get back to normalcy.2 points

I think so. If he ever plays for us again I plan to make several posts about how he is like a new signing.2 points

We got rid of a sizeable amount of deadwood and have brought in some decent replacements. Let's get into these stinking, paedo loving scumbags on Sunday! 🇬🇧2 points

I would also put Jefte as a LW option. Cortes can also play on the right.1 point

Cheers. Hadn’t caught up with that today. Not surprised with that really. With our injury luck I've no doubt he'll play plenty anyway.1 point

In the press conference Clement seems to suggest that Kasanwijro will be a back-up, so I think Souttar will be first choice. I don't think Souttar deserves to lose his spot, to be fair. He also said that Bajrami will be the #10.1 point

Well it's starting to look like a Clement team as opposed to the wreckage of previous managers. Interesting to note, Tav is the last remaining player in our squad that started the Europa League final.1 point

Have you seen some of the teams in the champions league? We would wipe the floor with some of them. We need to aim to compete at the top.1 point

I wouldn’t take anyone on that list. They are unattached for a reason. Either lack of quality or delusions of grandeur. Heard we spoke to Davy Klassen and he wasn’t interested as an example. Will be interesting to see what he settles for in the end.1 point

I think Rousseau said as much...I think the versatility of our two new purchases could be a huge positive.1 point

It really is too early to judge the new players but I'm not deterred in any way. I think, apart from maybe Barron and Kelly, they are all mercenaries that will give up after only the slightest pressure. As such you can ignore any talent that they have and accept that they are rubbish. We should look on the bright side though. It was really good to part company with many of the last batch of rubbish players.1 point

I wonder what is the difference in wages weekly and yearly after offloading and recruitment, probably enough for a player next summer. I think Koppen and Clement seem alot more prudent and savvy in recruitment, just have to remember they have had to stretch out our budget to get the best bang for buck while shifting on the dead wood on big money and losing all the experience aswell for free.1 point

We can beat half of those teams maybe not right now but with a little momentum and change in mood amongst the fans we could put up more of a fight1 point

Not again and the tims get a group they would need to be dross in not to get through. When are the Gods going to shine brightly on us?1 point

Rangers ought to pay some club £600K to take Cantwell away.1 point
-
I've just read that we are getting 600k for Cantwell. Is that a permanent deal? If it is, that is shocking considering the Tims are looking to get over 3 million for Mickey Johnston. He's been nowhere near their first team.1 point
