I thought that Hagi fell out with Beale and was loaned out before Clement arrived.

Hagi would go missing for large parts of a game even during 55, and then pop up with a goal. The injury was cruel on his part. I do think the difference between him and Lawrence in the team would be negligible tbh, both can't run for toffee. I'm not losing sleep over it though - the sooner we get in players who want to muck in the better.

The problem with Hagi and Cantwell is that people know our stance and their stance. They can just sit out this week and make a last ditch super-low-key bid that we might be willing or simply have to accept. The whole transfer business has turned ugly over the last decade, and we have been on the receiving end of some of the worst scenarios of it.

I don’t understand the situation with Hagi. If he won’t leave or can’t find another club I see no reason not to put him in the first team squad until the end of the season when his contract is up.

As things stand I’d prefer matondo to stay. He’s a better option wide left than Scott Wright or the easily injured Cortes

I can't see the team deviating to much from yesterday. Propper will probably come in at CB (based on PC's presser) and then Diamonde will start. I also think if we bring in new players, you won't see them in this game. That's not Clements style. As much as we've been inferior in these games over the last few seasons, I also feel we have also been unlucky. We've had goals disallowed for very little and decisions go against us. Most of which would have significantly impacted the scores (and mood) of these games IMO. According to Timothy, they just need to turn up and start counting the goals. Complacency from them could be an advantage for us. Even a draw would shatter their entitled mind set.
