  1. Seems Pharaohnuff to me. I thought this was a spoof, but Pyramids FC actually exists, and here's a link Pyramids FC - Wikipedia Cracking badge and good to see the Club maintaining links with antient masonry

  5. I wonder if there is a deal to be done for Hagi to stay. If the issue is Clement can’t justify a £6k pw increase in his wages if he plays him, but Hagi wants to stay, I wonder if that clause could be replaced and a solution found that suits both parties, even short term?

  6. I'd rather asked who wrote Jefte's birth certificate. This lad doesn't look like 20.

  9. We've got Dessers, Danilo and Igamane going for one spot in the team. I don't think we'll be recruiting another one.

  10. I should refer them to 'Kim', if I were you. Mind you, that could sow confusion; best to clarify you don't mean that Hero of the Soviet Union, Philby.

  13. Oh dear. Let’s hope no Russophile on this board chances to see the last captions. Eighteen paragraphs of rebuttal and excoriation of the West.

  15. As things stand I’d prefer matondo to stay. He’s a better option wide left than Scott Wright or the easily injured Cortes

  17. Sir Stanley Matthews being carried off the field on the shoulders of Yashin and Puskas with Masopust on the left after his testimonial match in 1965. The match also featured Schnellinger, Kopa , Eusebio, Seeler, Di Stefano, Kubala, Gento, Greaves, Charlton, Law, Moore and Haynes.

  19. Not quite true, He's not played as he needs to be ready for the rigours of our game, the conditioning is a step up from where he was. We've enough injuries without risking any more.

  22. It's a close-run thing between Dessers and Matondo. Each with 2 goals, Matondo with 2 assists and Dessers who was integral to the 4th with a great lay-off and run and set up chances for Lawrence, Matondo and Jefte. I thought Dessers just shaded it.

  23. Hard to disagree to be fair. A few candidates but Matondo for me for the reasons given by @Rousseau

  26. I can't see the team deviating to much from yesterday. Propper will probably come in at CB (based on PC's presser) and then Diamonde will start. I also think if we bring in new players, you won't see them in this game. That's not Clements style. As much as we've been inferior in these games over the last few seasons, I also feel we have also been unlucky. We've had goals disallowed for very little and decisions go against us. Most of which would have significantly impacted the scores (and mood) of these games IMO. According to Timothy, they just need to turn up and start counting the goals. Complacency from them could be an advantage for us. Even a draw would shatter their entitled mind set.

  28. At least Everton have hit rock bottom early. Plenty time for recovery. Wolves are goners.

  29. We need more high scoring wins like yesterday for our goal difference. Too often we’re too content to see out 2-1 wins and the like
