Statement from the club: Rangers can confirm it has issued indefinite bans to four individuals as enquiries continue following the incident outside Hampden Park on Saturday. Rangers has reached out to the St Johnstone employee to check on their wellbeing and to apologise on behalf of the club. We abhor and condemn all incidents like this in the strongest terms and continue to support Police Scotland with their ongoing investigation.4 points

I don't think we're intentionally tanking this season. It's just the new reality. It's what we're going to have over the next few years unless something dramatically changes. When King and the 3 bears came in, there was an injection of capital and we saw a big improvement, but with the warning that everything was front-loaded. This was boosted by good runs in Europe and a couple of big transfers. We're now coming out of this cycle and with no CL income, no big outgoing transfers and little to no incoming finance, we're going to have to get used to this level of activity.3 points

I think we lack a solid holding midfielder I reckon Stirling will be the new right back come the end of the the season Tav looks like he has lost any pace he had, I would not be against trying King the holding role but with two weeks to go until the window shuts that is not enough time to trail that so bit of a gamble to not recruit a holding midfielder, I think Fraser and Jefte can do a job at LB until Ridvan is back for a few games, so we need a LW Matondo and Wright just have not got the minerals and Cortes looks decent enough just injured alot the RW looks ok Ross is young and learning cerny looks rusty but like sima is offering numbers up top. And a must is an outstanding CAM who can link attack to defence and press efficiently we need someone special IMO, Dowell Lawrence Hagi and Cantwell all have their own good qualities but we need someone who is decent at everything and someone who has a bit more aggression and reading of the game backing up the press would not go amiss, I am sick of just one or two pressing and the rest either standing there or dropping off, if dessers presses someone who will follow him that would hopefully create a domino effect and leave any doubt of should I shouldn't I. I think at an absolute minimum we need 3 a CDM a LW and a CAM.3 points

I'm more worried about the contractors working so hard they develop a muscle injury and are out for 4-6 weeks.2 points

A few clubs looking to make bids for the players of Mordor. They'll make some serious money, but they still have to replace them... #OptimisticLoyal2 points

Another own goal by the Onion Bears. Just how ridiculous and embarrassing do you get than trying to nick a drum off the visiting dozen or so fans. I wonder what repercussions there will be for this? The individual surely given a lengthy ban is a no-brainer. The UB as a whole banned for a game, a month, a year, indefinitely? How many more times do they bring our name down before we act? And dont get me started on them murdering a beautiful Scottish song that would be better placed as our National anthem than the cringe-worthy FoS.2 points

I'm certainly presuming it's our fault, given our lack of rebuttal. Maybe it's the lack of a CEO, maybe it is actually our fault. On this issue, I'm glad we don't have to put up with their fans at our ground, but it could have been sold as a positive by us, if we had a decent PR.2 points

As it stands, they have effectively got the same squad as the end of last season. Their 2 loan players have become permanent fixtures for substantial fees and they've replaced an experienced goalie with another experienced goalie.1 point

Outwith the main issue, I have concerns about the state of the pitch when the construction is over. There is a significant portion of the pitch covered with boards getting zero sunlight and water. That's not going to look when lifted.1 point

I love it...but other than being sung by them, it's got nothing to do with the UBs, as far as I'm aware.1 point

Matondo was great if you like someone who is rapid, can beat a man and then give it away time after time. Such a frustrating player!1 point

Jefte was good but i'm going for someone I never thought I would ever vote for and that is Matondo. He had the full back on toast in the first half and looked the only real threat. A couple of the subs made an impact but overall I give my first ever (and probably last) vote to the Welsh winger.1 point

Maybe to do with her being known to security/Police, so less hassle getting it into the ground, so that everyone has to endure another non-stop bloody drum.1 point

Absolutely. Yesterday, the bigger picture could NOT be viewed by an element within our support. The St Johnstone SLO(Supporters Liaison Officer), a middle aged lady was attacked outside Hampden as she carried the 'away' supports drum. She was knocked to the ground and the drum was carried off. Today, a 22 year old Rangers supporter has been arrested in connection with the offence. I hope he is charged with both assault and theft(I have viewed the video). An element of our support is not content with shooting themselves in the foot, they insist on shooting themselves in both feet then, shooting themselves in the head.1 point

As a support we've had plenty of recent experience of tankings, unfortunately. So accepting a season like you describe isn't something fans want, but they will accept it. Recently we accepted it with Gerrard. It took two seasons to build a title winning side, but we could all see the progress and development, so it was accepted. I think you could be correct about this season. I don't think there's any chance we'll sign players who are on the type of salaries quoted, our wage bill is coming down no matter what. Whether Clement is the alchemist required to create a team greater than the sum of its parts is still up for debate, but the board seem to think he is and I'd be very surprised if we change course this season. I don't think we're deliberately 'tanking' but I do think we're deliberately reducing our wage bill and so the type of player we're signing. If, say, Cantwell or Hagi leave, they'll be replaced but by someone on significantly less money. Time will tell how that will work out. Having players on lower salaries also makes them easier to sell, part of the difficulty in moving on the two mentioned above is the salaries they enjoy. In reality neither have shown enough to suggest they're worth them, and so convincing another club to pay it is a problem. Likewise Davies, no one else is paying him that on current fitness and form. It could be a difficult season. Our squad isn't currently strong enough to compete on 4 fronts. But football is a strange sport at times and events might just intervene and make life for our neighbours across the city harder than it currently is.1 point
